First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

I use Fox Farm. Which one(s) did you get? And what flavor of Gardener & Bloome do you have. I looked and they have a bunch of different mixes. I got the FF Grow Big 6-4-4 and FF Tiger Bloom 2-8-4. Here's a pic of the Soil packaging. As I thought more about it remembered that this wasn't the...

First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

I switched from Bontanicare to Fox Farms nutes and watered today. Bonanicare products are supposedly good but it seems like you have to buy like 4-5 different nutrient solutions to equal the same quality as buying just 1 Fox Farm product. I expect and hope the plants will look better by the next...

First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

I just discovered that the nutes I'm using have different basis of measurement between the Veg and Bloom solutions. I've only been giving my plants 1/2 strength solution since they've been flowering.:o:shock: :wall: After looking at the Plant Abuse website IGLAW posted above I'm...

First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

I'm using Gardener & Bloome organic potting soil. I was trying to keep the soil from getting too acidic and causing lockup by flushing for a week with plain water but it doesn't seem to be doing the trick. The only way to reduce the acid levels is by flushing correct?

First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

Awesome! I've been searching for a website like that. :hump: Thanks a lot IGLAW! When you say to make sure my PH is OK do you mean the water going into the soil or the PH of the run-off? The PH of the water plain is just above 7 and around 6.5 after I add the nutes. I've never checked...

First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

So now both of my PF plants are having the same problem, the tips and edges of the leaves are turning a dark brown, almost like they are burning.:wall: Is this a nutrient problem or could it be that I have the light too close to the plants. As I stated before, I have been giving the plants...

How much do you pay for 1/8?

In Oklahoma an 1/8 of mid grade is $10, Dank is $60. In Oregon I haven't come across anything other than medical grade which runs $50-$60 for an 1/8. :peace: OUT!

best and quickest way to germinate?

Just like most everyone has said said so far, put them in a moist, warm, dark place. I had my seeds in a moist, dark place but the temps were in the 70's. Several days pasted with no sign of a taproot. I moved them out into the garage in 90+ temps and they cracked before the end of the day...

First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

Well, the little 6 inch tall sprouts have managed to stink up the entire bathroom so I decided that it was time they got moved out into the cabinet. I made a couple of adjustments to the cabinet. First I cut a section of tarp and velcroed it to area of the flower chamber that was exposed when...

I like to see progressive pics in other people's grow journals so I thought I would do the same. The pics start from day 7 of flowering to present day. The first two sets are the Permafrost and the third set is the WW. Enjoy the trip down memory lane.

First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

Thanks IGLAW, I can always count on you for good advice. I considered topping but with the limited amount of space in the flower room I want to avoid the plants getting too bushy, however it looks like topping is my best option considering my circumstances. +Rep and thanks again.:bigjoint:

First Grow: 400 watt HPS, Permafrost, White Widow, White Rhino, Blackjack

DAY 28 OF FLOWERING I think the spider mites are at bay for the moment. I did some undergrowth removal yesterday with the main focus being to remove all of the leaves that looked to be the most infested. The PF plants look healthier but everyday more leaves on the WW seem to be dying. The...

Purple Erkle, Blue Dream and Grape Ape outdoor clones. Pics, advice please

Subscribed. I forgot to mention, spider mites usually hang out on the underside of the leaves and lay their eggs in the creases near the leaf's veins. The white spots are where the mite has been sucking the life out of the leaf. They multiply like crazy so get them under control ASAP. As I...

Purple Erkle, Blue Dream and Grape Ape outdoor clones. Pics, advice please

I have a BAD problem with spider mites. So bad that I considered trashing my ladies and starting over. I picked up some Zero Tolerance from my local Med Marijuana club for $20. I drenched the plants from top to bottom, over and under the leaves just the other day. It seems to be working. All...

Yesterday I bought a magnifying glass and took a close look at the clones I sprayed with Zero Tolerance. The WR and BJ showed no signs of infestation, the PF did however.... but they were all dead! So this morning I drenched all of my flowering plants from head to toe, over and under the...
