Quick Dry Method (Better than any other I found)

    cfl first time grow. advice

keep the light close enough that you can put your hand between the light and the plant with out burning yourself. Use the forums to your advantage, TONS of information here. Don't just take one persons advice as gold, get a few different peoples input. Remember, it's just a plant, it's not...

Quick Dry Method (Better than any other I found)

I like the sock and hair dryer method for quick drying popcorn buds myself. Put some nug in the bottom of a sock turned inside out (make sure it has as little lint as possible). Put that on the end of a hair dryer. Set the hair drying on warm, low for about 2-3 minutes. Then cold, low for...

    Plant Height

You can clone from flowering plants but it just takes longer so the success rate isn't as high. You might think of making a small veg/clone box or a box for a mother with some CFL bulbs so you can keep a perpetual grow going.

    should i flush...

A lot of nutes do have molasses in it, but it's not the only thing in it. I love molasses, it's great stuff for growing. It feeds your soil, not your plant.

    Miracle Grow..

I would strongly disagree with flushing with Miracle Grow soil. Miracle Grow soil has water soluble nutrients in it. That's why you don't have to add nutes while using it. When you flush with Miracle Grow all you do is give your plant a heavy dose of nutes. How is giving your plant more nutes...

    plant hight question

you can top at the start of flowering, but you really should do it during veg. Tieing down is the better option in my opinion. Just be careful not to pull her to far and snap her in half.

    Miracle Grow..

Get yourself some Miracle Grow Seed Starter soil and start your seeds off in that. Then transplant them into the Miracle Grow soil you have no with out removing anything from it. Only give it water when it needs it and you'll be fine. It wont kill your plant, it won't make your bud taste...

    Mold =(

depending on how much mold you can take a 3% hydrogen peroxide bath to kill off the mold. Mix about 1 cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide to about 4-5 gal of water and soak your freshly cut stuff in it for about 5 minutes, then rinse them off and hang them to dry with a fan on them to get the excess...

    should i flush...

I can't understand how flushing for 2 weeks before harvest is supposed to help your plant in any way. I have never seen orange farmers do this. I've never seen people who grow flowers for competition flush 2 weeks before the show. I guess all those silly strawberry and blueberry growers and...

    Question from Noob

Fox Farm Ocean Forest (FFoF) is what a lot of people use. Just watch for bugs if your in the pacific north west. Just go look through peoples journals and you'll see lots of successful grows using FFoF.

    Water after transplant?

I don't water after I transfer. Usually the soil I am planting into is still moist and the soil my plant is in is nice and moist. So watering would just hurt more than help. I would have to say it really depends on the difference in size of containers and if your new soil is dry or moist still...

    Vape vs bong

Personally, I like bongs over vaps. It just feels like I get higher off bongs. I know it's probably in my head, because you can feel the smoke and see the smoke go in and see it come out so it's more satisfying. Just like the difference between an e-cigarette and a real cigarette.

    Got a questionn!!

in that case go to attitude seeds and look for the "rip off your friends and patients" area, some top notch stuff there. Im sure your not trying to rip anyone off, but use CFL bulbs, keep em like 6 inches away from your plant, don't give em nutes and let the temperatures soar.

This is weird..whats up with this stem?

what is your humidity in the grow room like? Could be mold or bud rot. I would take that branch off either way to prevent it from spreading further

WHEN READY TO HARVEST 36 hrs of Darkness???

I can say with certainty it was all in your head. Try getting someone who knows how to grow and dry/cure their stuff. Then have you sample it with out telling you which is which. Smoke a snap of each one a few times so you can get you answer straight, and I bet you come up all over the board as...

WHEN READY TO HARVEST 36 hrs of Darkness???

That could have also been because of your drying and curing, not flushing. But I don't do hydro so I say let hydro growers flush if it works for them, in soil however it's not needed.
