Going a Trip, how long can plants live with minual sun?

I'd be as worried about feeding as I am about the light. 10 days is a LONG time...

Organic 400W Soil Grow: Maple Leaf, Candy Kush & Peace-Maker

Thanks :-) I honestly don't know how much air volume it moves, but it has 10 speed settings and controllable temperature. it oscillates just under 90 degrees, so PERFECT for a corner in my tent. I can tell you it's doing a much better job than my old Honeywell fan. i just love the non-choppy...

    400W GWS Tent Grow (LST/SCROG)

Is it just me or are the stems bent too close to the top of the soil?

Gavita Pro 600 lamp: anybody using one? experiences?

It's good to have both options. Though I'm now also looking at the Plasma in addition  the spectrum and UVB... wow! Too bad my local shop only carries the HPS.

First SCROG w / chicken wire- 1000w MH, 4'x4'x6' tent, soil - pics

Looks good, waiting another few weeks will be worth it. At least your plants will be mature by the time you switch and will start truly flowering quicker.

First SCROG w / chicken wire- 1000w MH, 4'x4'x6' tent, soil - pics

Sounds good to me, would love to see photos. Are you considering a different spectrum bulb for flowering?

    Storage

Actually a fridge or freezer is not the best idea. Keep them in mason jars (I recently painted my jars black to keep light out) in a cool dry place. I don't know what you mean by "long term", but buds can stay fine for months and years this way. I've only managed 6 months :bigjoint:

    Green Mold?

Could be algae, actually. What solution pH are you using to feed them, and what kind of sole are you using?

    how to lower soil ph?

a little cider or grape vinegar with every watering/feeding should lower the soil's pH.

Gavita Pro 600 lamp: anybody using one? experiences?

I would, but my DIY skills are so bad it might pose a safety risk :P I actually don't mind the reflector so much, even though it's designed more for multiple lamp setups rather than an individual grow tent.

    When to stop feeding?

Try adding enzymes to the last two or so feedings, that should take care of excess salt built up and dead root mass. I stop feeding nutes a week before chopping.

Gavita Pro 600 lamp: anybody using one? experiences?

Hey had no idea you were on RIU :D What size exhaust fan do you need to keep temps low enough? Is an intake fan necessary? I'm pleasantly surprised, as the lamp doesn't appear to be too high off the canopy.

flowering problems / help advise urgently required

The time it takes to start flowering depends on how mature the plant was (veg time), and this changes from one strain to another. How high is your grow room and how long did you veg for? What you could get is something like a fan heater. I have an oscillating one that I can adjust the...

flowering problems / help advise urgently required

Photos would be helpful. You should count flowering from the time the plant shows its first pistils, not the day you switched to 12/12 lighting. Stretching could occur for a few reasons: -genetics -light spectrum (blue lights reduce the stretch) -light being too far -inducing flowering...

    Canna Terra Vega soil feed.

Which Biobizz soil are you using? I use the Light Mix. Also, how are you testing your soil pH? I personally only use tap water, but then again I think Swiss tap water is one of the best in the world :D Nevertheless, RO water and 1ml/l of the nutes will not cause the pH to drop to 4! During...

    Canna Terra Vega soil feed.

How exactly did the plants not react well to BioBizz? you are growing in soil right? I had the opposite experience, leaving Canna for BioBizz. I would recommend starting with half the amount (2.5ml/l). Any photos of your plants?
