Noob in need of help ... maybe

You gave it too much nutes on the first feeding. I know if i followed the recommendations on my veg feed my plants would be dead in a week. You need to flush immediately and they should pull through. N toxicity

wtf?....im bout to toss this thing

It looks like it's probably getting more water than it should and isn't getting the right amount of oxygen. You probably fully watered that pot without a fully grown plant in it to dry it out in time, only a seedling. It doesn't look too bad for 1 week though. This is the time where the roots...

    Dark spots on seedling

Well if it's coco then over-watering is definitely out of the question.

    Dark spots on seedling

It sounds like you are pretty heavy on the water. This seedling should only have had a few light watering's by now so the soil doesn't stay too wet restricting the amount of oxygen getting to the roots. Let it dry. Brown patches on an overwatered seedling will clear up if it's early enough.

    yellow blotches on leaves

Leaves are expendable on a plant. They don't heal but they won't drop off if they still serve a purpose. You Judge the new growth surface; It should be soft, not dry and it should be around the same shade of green as it was as a seedling Cut your nutes to 1/4 of what you were feeding. Near N...

    yellow blotches on leaves

Overfeeding would be the root cause of all this. The dark green, dry crispy feeling surface is an obvious sign that you need to flush the excess nitrogen out of the soil. I get this when my plants need re-potting and need to be watered everyday with soil containing natural fertilizers.

    Root bound??

One sign of a root bound plant is sudden rapid yellowing of the fan leaves, then the sugar leaves. The green fades away and the leaf drops off. The leaves are just starved of nutrients. I can see single yellow lower leaves in pics 1 and 3. With root bounds plants that is what happens with all...

1st seed grow, havin a tuff time id'ing males :-(

Yes. They're all obvious males. a rarity. It was my first grow from seed as well when i got all males. I was growing from clones at first as well. They're easier to get than seeds for me.

1st seed grow, havin a tuff time id'ing males :-(

Fuck that. Get some fem seeds for your first grow, then move to regular seeds. Just to ease stress. That's what i did anyway when i got all male on my first from seed grow.

    2week plant need advice

Also. The lights you're using don't produce too much light for seedlings. Keep them as close as possible without it getting too hot.

    2week plant need advice

Your problems all appear to be overwatering. Your soil wouldn't be drying out 3 times a day unless you had a 1000w hps on top of them. The top layer would dry, but not the bottom. Dig into the soil to check how dry it is. When these little leaves begin to die it is time to start feeding. Feed...

    cheap set up

Here is an ad here with someone offering up a 400w setup, cooling fans, ducting, timer, and chains for the lamp in exchange for a few clones. Why they decided to list seeds and clones is beyond me. http://groups.freecycle.org/WaitakereNZ/posts/26536977/Complete%20inside%20grow%20kit

First real grow how do they look?

Plants with nitrogen toxicity show plenty of easy signs. Some leaves develop a glossy dry (brown paper like) darkish green surface. The camera would be making it look a lot lighter in color than in real life. Canoeing: Soon they will all look like this: This is the start of the little...

First real grow how do they look?

They're overfed. Watering too often with soils already containing fertilizers can overfeed plants. The plant in pic 3 is showing obvious nitrogen toxicity. I can see a couple leaves starting to canoe and the lower growth is too dark and dry. If it isn't liquid feeding causing the problem, then...

What is eating my leaves! - +Rep for any help

Nothing is eating those leaves. If looks like you're overfeeding. You might also be seeing some leaves tear themselves. I've had leaves with dead material between the ridges or viens on the leaf like yours that makes it look like a skeleton.

vegging a clone with no veg chamber

I cut 2 clones just before i put a plant into flower, and vegged them under the 400w hps. Then i pulled them out and put them under 2x 23w cfl's for the other 12 hours when they were small enough to stay in the box i grow my clones in. I still do the same thing to save power when im vegging...
