beware of their cactus seeds unless you like 10% germination :p. their seeds are old, not fresh, makes an ENORMOUS difference.

put out a couple bowls of water+joy detergent. the yellow + sweet attracts them, your bowls will be filled with carcasses daily ;). if all else fails, use physan20. it kills EVERYthing.

blue spec produces tighter lusher foliage, however, both work. hps is generally a little leggier, not much, smaller leaves. i use 20$ mh bulbs with fantastic results. i save the super duper kw flower power for flowering.
