yeah one of my Bubblegum plants got a lil' bleached and the leaves look identical to the op's. However the calyxes retained their color and didn't go white like that.

How close are the lights and what kind of lights? maybe light-bleaching? looks that way from some of those small leaves near the top.

no don't flush with water and MG! that will do the opposite of what you want, you're trying to remove the salts buildup from your medium. Just use regular water with some cider vinegar or lemon concentrate to bring down the pH.

yeah why not. Just means they'll drain out faster.

Well a lot of people trim off the lower 1/4 or 1/3 of branches and leaves so that growth is focused on top branches, and produce larger buds. Otherwise you end up with a lot of popcorn buds (which I don't mind for hash-making).

that's awesome! decided to chop a few Bubblegum branches off one plant in a few hours right before lights come on. Hey, I'm dry! besides, this way some of the lower buds can catch up. The rest are hopefully getting chopped in no longer than 5-7 days. Exciting times :mrgreen:

yeah 7.4 is way too high in any medium and at any stage of the lifecycle. Could be a sign of nute-burn because of excess nitrogen (which can be absorbed between pH 6.0 and 8.0) and a block of other essential nutrients. Just a guess.

Well to be honest I've never bought pH Up/Down. I just use organic white vinegar or pure lemon concentrate. For you that should be a temporary fix to the pH problem which, if not corrected, could really ruin your crop- especially in hydro. Hope some of the more experienced hydro growers here...

I think you meant they don't bud in winter ;-)
