I do love me some landraces. Unfortunately a lot of the landrace genetics I've come across are equatorial sativas and i am really not a big fan of sativas. I've seen some afghani and hindu kush available that claimed to be landrace-ish, but it wasn't from breeders i trusted.

For sure. I gave a cutting to a buddy who turned it in to a mother plant. Once I'm ready for them I'll be taking some cuttings from that to continue the strain. Having a mother to take from means I'll be able to try crosses and back crosses without fear of losing the original genetics.

To be fair, some of the less stable genetics can produce amazing plants. The Orkle i grew earlier this year from IHG was outstanding. Great parents help, but they got it right on that one without a lot of work to stabilize the strain.

Same. Had a random seed from cannarado with decent parents, but the plant just seemed defective. Grew weird, super touchy, bud developement was uneven and super larfy. Smelled like a rotting corpse in flower and despite the cured buds smelling decent it still tastes loke hot death.. Grew...

I'd imagine that will yeild more than a pound. I pulled a bit over 1/3 of a pound off of 1 plant under one of those HLG QB 288 @ 135 watts. So even with him only driving them at 60 watts each i would be very surprised if it only yields a pound.

Just keep learning and keep growing. Try to really pay attention to all the successes and failures and learn from them all.

In soil? Not really. Water isn't going to remove anything that has already been utilized by the plant. In fact, when you stop feeding a flowering cannabis plant it will begin to feed off of the nutrients available in the leaves in a final attempt to remain viable long enough to be fertilized...

I would definitely recomend that you consider trying to find an old wardrobe or cabinet that you could convert into a grow space if possible. I would get really nervous putting any kind of grow light inside a plastic box.
