Haha! Maybe i should pull the 3 watt osram chips out of my Solar Storm 440. I could say it's my patented design and sell him the 'prototype' for a highly inflated price. Sweet.
Everyone on this forum knows about light cycles. Cannabis is a photoperiod plant. Duh. People are all over the LED section working with far-red flower intitiators. What are you talking about? Holy fuck.
You obviously know nothing about botany and plant biology in general if you think 'flushing' does anything more than leech nutrients out of the soil. It's pretty clear to anyone who is actually educated in these fields of discipline that you are the one lacking the basics...
I honestly hope...
Take your uninfromed opinions and your aggressively shitty attitude and go away. Your reaction to having your misinformation challenged speaks volumes about the content of your character, and the last thing this forum needs is another know-it-all spewing vitriol. Well adjusted grown ups don't...
I used to get bleaching if i had less than 16" from the canopy with CLW Solar Storm 440. Running anything other than florescent lighting in severely height restricted grows is always going to be challenging. You may have to rethink your space if you want to keep using those lights.
In theory, any light that misses the canopy could reflect off the floor, bounce off the walls, and perhaps a small amount may actually make to the leaves.... enough to matter? Probably not.
Sup y'all. So i have an adorable little 2x3 space. There is currently 135w QB 288 kit in there and it did a marvelous job for me last run. However.. i was really only utilizing 2x2 or so of my space. I was thinking of adding a bit of light. Trying to decide between getting the bigger slate...
You should really never be growing inside a structure without some way to move fresh air through the space. You are asking for all kinds of problems..
Runaway temperature swings, humidity spikes, mold... you really have to move some air.
Do you have active air exchange in your grow space? Inline fans exhausting air out and intakes for fesh air in? Hiw big is the space? A 400 hps/mh in a small, unventilated area is going to turn into an easy bake oven.
One of these will grow one plant nicely..

An adequate sorce of light is a necessity if you want to grow any plant. You are going to need to acquire something better or you just are not going to get anything to grow. Do you have any funds available to invest in a proper light?
