I want to make a screen But I'm not positive On all the changes I should be making yet. I have a 600w mh/hps open hood. I've been over crowding. I've been running 9 plants in 7 gallon pots vegging for about 6 weeks.
I've read that indicas are best for scrogs, so I'll probably go with those, but...
I was watering a half gallon per plant every 3 days. Using gh maxi series and calmag. After everything was added I believe it was about 600-700 ppm in the water. But I fed every single waterng. With no visible ill effects. But I am growing soilless, so I was told to feed every time. But I...
So what is the suggested water regimen? I wouldnt want to wait for my plant to be droopy before I feed. Is there anything before that to look for? Most people tell me to go by weight, but i have a hard time with that. Maybe i should just try to stick with it some more. So instead i just went...
you water half a gallon of water in 5 gallon plants every day?! None of my plants ever showed signs of underwatering (unlike my last crop) so your suggesting I water more then I take it? these are 7 gallon fabric pots.
This is my third grow, and I've done about 12 strands. None of them were as dense as id like. Last harvest breeder said I wasn't watering enough. It could still be my issue. I give about a half gallon per plant every 3 days
I'm not sure how the penetration is. I've got 9 right now in 7 gallon pots. The got taller than I wanted, and I did very little training so my canopy is all over the place. I just harvested 3 space rippers, and I actually got 38 grams per space ripper. 4.1 zips for the 3 combined. Not what most...
I would be willing to buy some supplemental lights, but following my next grow (harvesting spring right now, starting summer in a couple weeks) I'll be going hydro in the fall, at that time im setting up a scrog and cutting down to 4 plants.
Well I just bought a new hood so that I can change up ventilation. Right this moment I have an adjust a wing hood with intake coming from the window and an 8 inch 400something cfm exhaust fan hanging out of my return air vent at the top of the room.
After I upgrade my hood, I got an air cooled...
It is decent smoke. But the guy I get my clones from brings over his finished stuff of the exact same strain from clone, and its just so different. Tighter, denser, like small rocks.
About 18"
But will that make up for having 3 less plants of bud?
I could try. But too much humidity could cause mold. Remember these buds are fairly airy so they will dry quicker
I do need to change the bulb. Mine is about a year old. On its last leg
Hortilux 600 watt my and hps
Genetics are top quality. I have a friend who clones and his finished product is the best I've seen. I often read that 600w users should be able to pull a pound without issue. I may get a half pound after this is said and done
Are you saying the maxi series is...
I was considering 6 plants as well. I think its partly because I did very little training so they pretty much grow straight up.
I have a couple shortys on top of crates at about 3 ft. A few average 5 footers. And a haze that stretched higher that I did a late super crop on.
How do you get denser buds? I'm On my third harvest but I'm still lacking the density that I would like. Buds look pretty decent on harvest day (until I get to the bottom of the plant, I need to do more pruning next time) but after about a 4 day hang dry, they look a lot less dense
Specs:
600w...
I will check those out. But if you want to talk about saving cash, I've been using the maxi series off of the same 2 bags for one year. Its about halfway gone. $30 combined.
Has anyone ever tried a 3 parter by Growmore? According to monsterplants dot com, its basically the flora series with a lower application rate and a better micro.
I have a 600watt light, which i've been told is good for about 3x3 - 4x4. I plan to do a lot of training / topping this time to do some better canopy management. At what point should I be flipping from veg into flower in order to maximize my canopy coverage? Im trying to keep the plants a bit...
