Go with the 400, because you can always expand your grow space. A 250 is 'ok' for hobby growing, but if you want to grow dense buds that look like the shit in High Times, you need the penetrating power that 400,600,1000 watters provide. The drawback is the heat. You can't monkey around...

I'd go with one like This from htg. 424 cmf. I use the smaller one with 4" flange on a 400 watter, this one is 6" and the price is like $100, can't really beat that. I upgraded to these fans a year ago and have had 0 problems.

1 year is what the people that sell bulbs tell you. My buddy's been using the same hps 1000 watter for like 6 years with no problems. So, somewhere in between there.

It's too late into flowering for the kush to create fully developed seeds. There's different ways to make fem and quasi fem seeds.

If you're attempting it, def use a clone that you know for sure is female and that it's mature.
