Very true. I decided to grow this baby for just those reasons. I figure take some unknown strain and give it the best of everything, and see what quality I can get. So far its had 1/4 strength organic grow nutrients and calmag plus. I will introduce organic bloom in a couple more weeks...
If you want to grow monsters have at it. I flower plants at 30 days all the time, and they triple in size in a 5 gallon bucket. Its not like I posted a picture of a sprout and said I'm gonna flower now.
Yes its ok to let you plants go dry. That is sorta the point. MJ likes a dry up completely. Biggest newbie mistake is overwatering. Wait however long it takes for all the water in the medium to dry up. Then give it a plain water soaking and repeat. I didnt say it was ok to let it dry up and not...
I got bored waiting on some good seeds, so I grew out a bagseed from some bag of mid I got last year. I must say green, healthy, you couldnt kill this damn thing! I am gonna flower it now, just to see if it's any good.
Continue grow nutrients through pre flower. Resist the urge to swith to more phosporus bloom nutrients until a couple weeks into flower. Even then go half grow half bloom and gradually switch to all bloom nutrients 3-4 weeks into flower. Also change your lights to a more red spectrum while still...
Nice choice. I havent had a dutch passion strain let me down yet. Unless I count the time I went cheap with regular seeds, and ended up vegging a male blueberry for a month :-(
I dont start nutrients until about 21 days old or three weeks. Then 1/4 strength only, and alternate feedings with plain waterings. As stated earlier lose the time frame of three days. Let it get dry to the bone. Pot should be feather light when you lift it.
I have the same size space. I use a 4" 170 cfm fan and phresh carbon filter. I also use a speed controler to slow it down to maybe 60 percent power, which really quiets it down. I get ample fresh air intake, zero smell outtake.
Ive used it in soil. It works. I use the liquid kind during the specified time frame. Buds swell up phatter and get sticky. They are working on an all organic version I hear.
I have low daytime temps, usually between 70 and 72. Sometimes dropping to 68 at lights out. Will I get an improved growth rate if I up the daytime temps to 75-77?
I start to smell plants strongly at about three weeks into veg. As other have mentioned, odor only grows as you move into flower. There is no way around it, get a carbon filter and fan combo, if you plan to be stealthy. Dont let people talk you into supposed low odor strains, or tell you that...
