its defenatly a blend of over watering and nute burn..... First off, What kind of soil are you using?? if you havent been amending it with ferts, then its too rich for the plant at this stage... and the 20 holes on the bottom of the pot arent gonnna help if they cannot evacuate the water...

Man, i like what everyone wrote... but heres a good trick... and what i do seen as im like you and dont really like breaks... unless im travelling to places i cant take it along.... Try and always have different strains... and stick to one when you cant get high anymore... Smoke an other...

Mollasses is much better than sugar because it brings a good magnesium, zinc, and iron amendement to your plants... and these your regular flowering foods dont have much of in them... neither does sugar.....

If your really insist on the wanting more light to get to the buds... then try tucking leafs under other branches and such ... It is a silly silly thing to remove any leaf that is less than 70% damaged..... The only leafs you should be doing anything to, are the ones that really die back...

I surely wouldnt use molasses in a hydro setup... what it does is pretty much activate bacterias and such in your soil (Its kind of like using enzymes..) except it will also bring a calcium and magnesium amendment.... and flavor...... Its a very very thick syrup it does dilute in warm...
