Id say let em roll for about 1 1/2 months and then flower, keep em trained and maybe even top a couple to see if you get more or less, experiment with different techniques and see what you get the best results from.

You should try breeding, you wont need seeds anymore. You make your own strains....its more addictive than buying seeds.

as far as potency the AK is far superior, same with the smell. Youll probably get more off the big bud given the correct growing conditions. Id say go with the AK, its easy to grow and one of the better highs around.
