a vermiculite mixture is best. i put 2 liters of assorted nutrients i got from sannie, (bat guano, palm tree ash, etc.), into a 50 pound vermiculite bag, and mine did really well. also mixing perlite and coco coir into the mix can help with water retention, aeration, and drainage.
