Rak, would you say that it's just a slower start when they go fresh seedling into the AG plugs as opposed to getting them bigger first, then transplanting? When I hydro'd last, I transplanted tenderly rinsing soil from roots gently. Plants were about 4 1/2" tall and had no problems.

markl, thanks for the tip about the pump. I was worried that when I put my seedlings(when they are big enough), into the root riot plugs that it would be too wet all the time promoting stem problems. So I will use the digital timer for the pump going every other day for an hour, using airstone...
