You can basically keep them as close as you want. I've found that they don't start burning at all really until they touch the lamp.. 2 inches is usually good so they don't grow into it right away. Unless they're seedlings, then it's good to keep them 3 or 4in away I had an issue with one drying...

Yea, the main reason I'm interested in Auto's is because with my current setup I could get perpetual going easier with 1 light going 18/6 or 20/4 all the time. They also stay about the right height for my kind of light setup. Only real problem is I'd have to start from seed all the time...

originally I planned to grow an auto flowering strain so the pots didn't need to be as big, and I just forgot to get bigger pots.. Next grow I was thinking auto ak47, white widow or bubblicious I'm not sure yet. I'm still kind of interested in the Auto's just not lowryder, but lowryder crosses...

Yea I'm definitely going to get 3gal pots for the next grow.

They're at least 2gal, probably good enough to finish it out.. They say about for every 1ft growth you should have 1gal, mine is around 2ft so it's probably just barely enough.. I can see small roots coming out of the holes on the bottom though so it would have been beneficial to have them in...

I'll try and get an overview pic tomorrow.. Mine was a little more than a ft tall when I flipped to 12/12 it didn't grow much taller, it just got really bushy and took up more and more space vertically.. (the branches grew and grew..) It just stopped growing not long ago so I think it's now...

That's on only one plant lol it got huge.. It's taking up at least half the space under my light.. It had 5wks veg. The other plant is lagging quite a bit, small buds, but they are still growing.. I put it into flower after only 2wks veg..

Well, like I said I'm only at 4 1/2 weeks flowering the T5 puts out 20,000 lumens.. I have at least 3 1/2 - 4wks to go yet. (it also takes a little bit to switch to flowering in the first place so.. I'd say there's plenty of time for them to fatten up) Also, there's about 12 of those sized buds...

Yea you can smoke the leaves. They're not real strong though, but they will give you a little buzz..

They need 12hrs in total darkness, looks like you kind of have them out in the open so light might be getting to them keeping them in veg.

I don't know.. pics? I doubt you'd be seeing preflowers this early, but who knows. It could just be the start of a new branch coming from the node.
