So the current ballast is pumping out heat between 35-42 degrees Celsius, and for noise, if 1 was silent and 10 was I'm scared about losing my fingers, I would say it's between 4-5. So now I am going to change the ballast, do the same tests and I will post the difference :)

Haha, thanks for the help, the main one that got me on a paranoid one is I watched one of them police programs, they was searching with a thermal camera and one room was a degree or 2 hotter than the rest of the windows, and that's how they got them

It's winter in the UK, the heat from the grow will show on a thermol camera if police was looking, so I was just wondering what would be the best way to stop any heat from the grow getting to the windows

Thanks for the reply, I'm in the UK, and as you know we are not really meant to be growing, it is winter here at the moment, so it's quite cold, and the extra heat from the tent will show on the windows if a police helicopter is having a look about
