    LED Build 3x3

https://www.ledsupply.com/blog/constant-current-led-drivers-vs-constant-voltage-led-drivers/ Wired in series, all you have to do is ensure you have enough strips to fall within the drivers specified voltage range. If you refer to the strips datasheet, we see that they run at 20v when hooked up...

First time grower - Looking at HLG LEDs

I Don't know too much about these guys but if they are using lm561c, I would imagine it's pretty efficient and effective. They look like some of the Fluence Alibaba clones I've seen. In fact, I think they are the same. I'd look into those for more info.

    Best aero cloners?

It's not purely a cloner but I think the GH rainforest is a good product and worth looking at

    LED Build 3x3

Looks good. I Usually have my driver's outside the room so you could always do that if it's too heavy

    Marshydro for my little jardin?

Did you settle on the light yet? A single decent quality cob, a logic puck or a quantum board would be perfect for your space

    LED Build 3x3

Not that your strips will run super hot or anything at that current but the cooler they run, the longer they last and the more efficient they become. Look for something thermally conductive. Ideally something that isn't permanent either since you may want to disassemble at some point. This is...

    LED Build 3x3

Double sided thermal tape is ideal but you should be fine just mounting them with screws no thermal. If you're set on the glue, don't glue under LEDs. I'd strongly advise against glue though since once there, theirs no taking it off without risk of damage.

    LED Build 3x3

Don't use epoxy. It has extremely poor thermal conductivity. Thermal paste or double sided thermal tape is what you want

    LED Build 3x3

11 strips on an HLG 240 1050 would work quite well if you don't want to wait.

    LED Build 3x3

Theirs 11 of the 2 ft 3000k eb2 available on digikey.ca. 3000k is honestly fine evene for veg. You can always try mouser, arrow or Newark as well. How big is the room and you Canadian ?

    LED Build 3x3

Well I'm running the pucks. They use lm301b diodes so they're quite a bit more efficient than eb2 strips. H influx or q series will match them though. Their is no doubt though that you'll get a much better bang for your puck going the diy route. Reason I went for the pucks is that I needed...

New vivosun 600w led full spectrum

Before you order this, may I suggest an alternative from Rapid or HLG? A single logic puck, QB elite or 2 of the lower wattage QB elites will be much more effective and probably not too much more expensive.

The best led for a 2x4 tent

Yup. Dealt with Carlos. Very quick to respond and helpful. I think they have a good thing going. Lots of people around here gravitate towards HLG, and for good reason, but the rapid setups are just as good imo.

BIG SALE for CREE CXB 3590 LED GROW LIGHTS

Anyone try these? I DIY but these could be a great value for those that don't.

Any news on the New Samsung strips?

Same. My first Diy build was with Vero C's running at 120 w each. This requires active cooling. Ended up paying for in the long run. Learned my lesson when one of the cobs burned out.

    Gavita Enters the LED Market

That's a good idea. It's cold up here in Canada and an HPS could double as a heater lol. Went to school for renewable energy so I appreciate things like this.

Any news on the New Samsung strips?

I swear the atreum strips were in stock but not sure. The elites are pretty damn awesome. You won't see much benefit from the strips over them but it's certainly on par with them. As for PLC, I don't know too much about them but I'm guessing its will be in the same ballpark as far as cost...

    Gavita Enters the LED Market

That is a good point. I still think itll be a while before commercial growers switch over to LEDs though and by then their will be other options. They're practically giving HPS lights away now so naturally they will gravitate towards that since LED has a massive up front cost in comparison...

Any news on the New Samsung strips?

Yes they are excellent aside from the price. If price is not an issue then go for it. Efficiency will be close to any other Lm301b light. Logic pucks and elites are also great if you like having the added red ( or blue with the pucks).

    LED Build 3x3

Yeah it seems most build there run the lights pretty hard requiring a small heatsink. All you need to do though is drive them a little bit softer. The H influx for example can be driven at 1050 mA. Mount it on aluminum channel and you shouldn't have any issues regarding thermals. I'm in...
