The only thing I have to say is not all of these people are growing the way you /me are and are working with limited budgets. You really need to take that into account! I see your TRYING to give good advice but YOU must remember alot of these people are working on a shoestring!

Don't put them outside this time of year unless you live on the equator. If they could just be misted a couple times while you were gone under a flourescent should be fine. They might need to be watered once if even that. I don't water starts much at all although I do mist all the time.

How do you like the mix between the 1000 and 400's? There are so many bulbs (just like everything else) I too am looking for advice on which bulb gives you the most bang for the buck.

Maybe off point but I think I'll stick with my Happy Frog, Earth worm castings and Bat Guano (along with my suite of Fox Farm products). I would be concerned about using human feces.
