I'll keep my opinion to myself on that bud washing... after reading it I see that's not what caused that first bud to look like that. It's bud rot. Break open more bugs, if you find that same color. Toss them.

First picture is either bud rot or from you "speed washing it" don't know why you did that. If you see any grayish white fuzz then it's definitely mold. Hiding from the first picture I wouldn't smoke any thing that looks like that nug.
