    Auto-flowering seeds?

Halogen lights should be avoided based on what I have read over the years. Can't remember if it was a heat, light spectrum or what issue. Go with 100-150 true watts of CFL or flourescent or go HPS. There are other options like LED but I don't know enough about them to comment.

    Auto-flowering seeds?

I was going to say use at least 150 true watts but you said you ordered a HPS so you should be good. I like the suggestion to use seed starter where the seed is planted, you could also use the happy frog without any problem imo. Fill the bottom half of the pot with ffof and the top with happy...

    auto flowering

Never grown fruit, but am growing 3 dinafem autos right now. I would feed grow nutes until they start some good pistil development then stick with the grow nutes for another week or so then start transitioning to bloom nutes but make sure they are still getting enough nitrogen. Do a search for...

Help, Need Pro Insight, Vacation, Leaving my Plants, please read!

For only 6 days you should be ok, I would put about 1/2" of water in the bottom of the tray. But if you put them under direct sunlight or where temps get over 80ish they are going to dry out. If it were me I would keep them indoors under a mild (not too hot) light source. Not ideal but they...

Growing plants outdoors as soon as they sprout?

At 40-45 I think you will probably lose them, or if some survive they will be stunted for a long time. Keep them inside, it doesn't have to be a perfect setup. Just a simple light on them in a closet for at least a couple weeks so they are larger and the temps are higher. I am in Washington...

Thanks bro, all those jig saw puzzles I did as a kid finally paid off lol. It is a challenge to get light to all of them. I actually managed to "stack" them back in so they are all getting decent direct light. The PD is a great evening smoke, real knock you on your ass high. I really like...

The Autos have all been seeded completely, guessing I will have at least 400 seeds total from them. The father for all of them is a feminized Amnesia Auto. I think the C+2 is my favorite of the autos, nice chunky buds on it. They have all done pretty well imo, especially considering that they...

Jack Herer Purple Indica Pheno Close up on a JH bud Jilly Bean (Defoliation experiment) I took about 20 more leaves off of it just to stick to the guidlines that I read for defoliation but it really doesn't look like it needs any more to me so I am done taking leaves off her. I do like the...

I have 3 high CBD plants in the tent. The SNS Widow was the most neglected plant in the tent. I pulled a ton of dead leaves out of it. Looks like it might have been short on water while I was on vacation, not sure. Still put some good buds on though. The Remedy and SourT #3 are pretty...

Sleestack x Skunk This plant is putting on good sized buds but it is clearly at least a 10 week plant. Might put it under the CFLs where the males were to finish it, not sure yet. A couple closer shots of the sleeskunk Purple Diesel Sugar Plum X (Jack the Ripper x Purple Urkle) Sugar...

Here are the pics I took 2 days ago. 19 plants total, it's hard to believe they all fit in a 5x5 tent. Most are doing pretty well, some have been neglected a bit but have pulled through just fine. The HH plants are still under performing but seem to be catching up some. The plants can't...

    Jointed's Journey

Nice work, your ladies are looking great. I am a believer, run plenty of nitrogen myself through week 5 or so. The next grow nute I buy will be foliage pro. Awsome results man.

    First time grower/bag seed/learning

Yeah, I am making some feminized auto seeds for the first time right now. They will be ready in about 2 weeks. It is also my first time growing autos at all. I used Colloidal Silver to make them and will end up with at least 400-500 seeds if I had to guess. Most strains of autos are hard...

    FREE AUTOS FROM ATTITUDE

I have just grown autos for the first time myself, they are 6 weeks into 12/12 (indoors). Growing them with photos, and doing some breeding. I wouldn't worry about transplanting them one time. Mine did just fine. I would start them in a solo cup and let them get an established root system...

    could really use some advice

I would go with the seedling starter and perlite only. Skip the MG potting mix, it isn't necessary and isn't going to help the seedlings at all. They will be fine until they are 4" tall and you transplant them. Sounds like your watering is under control so MG is causing the problem IMO. Less...

    First time grower/bag seed/learning

I agree with DC on this, the plant will yield less even after it reveg's, than a plant started slightly later outdoors that veges for the whole season with no shock before flowering. Go ahead and keep your current plant going if you have the space and make the changes we have talked about, but...

Plants showing some symptoms, What can it be?

Agree with Bucees, (pretty severe) nutrient burn. Back off on how much you are feeding them and see how they respond. Could be Ph too. Are you PHing your nutrient solution? Backing off on the strength of your nutrients could somewhat help the Ph issue automatically as well. I hope you put...

How do YOU think there doing?

Plants are looking good! Just got over a bad sinus infection myself. Sounds like you are dealing with something serious, that sucks. Take care of yourself and rest up bro.

Thanks guys, the JillyBean has really impressed me. Especially given that it was an experiment on defoliation. She has really responded well to it. Not saying I am now a proponent of defoliation though. At some point after harvest I will post some thoughts on defoliation for what they are...

Help! trying to save these plants

My first thought was the same as cassinfo. Unless you get some feedback that is a spot on diagnosis and remedy them they are not long for this world. it does look like a calcium deficiency but you have other issues too like heat and ice cubes in the res. By the time you test a theory they could...
