Need help on when to Switch FF ferts.

Well, yeah they are fenced in. No signs of animals attempting to get the plants or the soil. I was under the impression that (I think) Big Bloom was the only 1 of the 3 that was actually organic. I don't really care either way... Can anyone answer my original question?

Need help on when to Switch FF ferts.

Hi, I'm currently attempting my 1st outdoor grow. Moved my plants out to their outdoor spots around the end of May. Been checking up on them 2x a week so far. Every weekend I water with Ph'd water containing Fox Farm's Grow Big and Big Bloom, and I water with just PH'd water 1x mid-week...

My young pot plant looks extremely healthy yet is growing slowly and very bushy

While the majority of the soil appears bone dry, you plant appears over-watered in my opinion.

How many watts before u are watched

Interesting thread. I , as well, have also heard that 1000w/bedroom is a decent rule of thumb to go by. All I know is that almost all the busts in SW Ont. are Vietnamese growers who all steal the hydro. Do what you have to, but don't steal power. Pay your bills on time and find ways to...

    Is Co2 for outdoors good?

LOL at the OP. I guess he doesn't understand that CO2 is a gas and doesn't just plop out of the tank and sit beside your plants when you turn it on :)

Long Post. Looking for help outdoors.

Need some advice! I'll try and be as detailed as I can and I'll try to keep this as short as possible. I have 17 plants that were just placed in their outdoor spots 2 days ago (Saturday morn). The plants were grown in beer cups with Pro-mix BX and were very healthy the whole time but...

    First Time Grow. Ph??????

As a first time outdoor grower, let me tell you what I have found/discovered in only a few days. I grew my plants from seed and everything went just fine. Decided way back that I wasn't going to bother with PH since I figured I would be okay with just assuming everything was good. I decided a...

    Clones: when to feed them

I'm kinda guessing their age. I think I've had them about 2 weeks now. My buddy makes fantastic clones but he had 3 he was gonna throw away that I said I'd take. I already had more than enough seedlings on the go, so I didn't baby them at all. I just subjected them to the same environment...

    Clones: when to feed them

A friend gave me a few of his sickly clones to add to my healthy seedling collection for this year's outdoor grow. 1 died right away and the remaining 2 had droopy yellowing leaves. I had put the clones out with my seedlings and it seems that the new growths on the clones was burned off by the...

    Help with Fox Farm feeding

Thanks for the help guys. I went to another hydroponics store today (we have 4 in town) and was told that Fox Farm products are actually illegal to bring into Canada. This store (not the one I bought the Grow Big from) happened to have a few bottles of Tiger Bloom for sale though. The owner...

    Help with Fox Farm feeding

Thank schmitra. Looks like I'll be using Big BLoom the most then. I should go and pick up a bottle ASAP. If I do the water, water, fert routine, then it looks like I'll be feeding grow big and big bloom about every 10...

    Help with Fox Farm feeding

When I got the bottle home I immediately realized I had the wrong bottle and that the NPK was drastically different. I understand the NPK of the soil bottle since from what I've gathered, plants need N in veg.... so what's the deal with the Hydroponic formula of the same product having such a...

    Help with Fox Farm feeding

See, this is what confuses me. Half the ppl I ask tell me to use Grow big for veg. growth and then to switch to Big Bloom when you first see flowers. The rest of the ppl I ask tell me to follow the feeding schedule which tells you to use BOTH Grow Big and Big Bloom at the same time for Veg...

    Help with Fox Farm feeding

First, this was posted with zero response in the main forum so I figured perhaps Id find more help in this forum. Sorry if it's not really an organics question. Got a fert question for you guys. I added some Fox Farm Marine Cuisine to my outdoor plots today and watered them thoroughly. I plan...

Adjusting plants to the natural light cycle.

They've been in full sun everyday for a few weeks now. Currently they sit in full sun all day and then I add more light with CFL's when the sun goes down to extend their light cycle to 18-20 hrs a day. If I do 18/6 or 20/4 for weeks (like I have been), will the immediate switch to 14-15 hrs...

Adjusting plants to the natural light cycle.

Another Q for you guys. Im hoping to put my plants out to their final destination outdoors this weekend, or soon after. Where I am, we are getting roughly 14-15 hrs of light a day at this time. For the last 2 weeks the plants have been spending the full day outside in the sun and then...
