Well I'm pleased to report that I now have a confirmed female. I was beginning to think these plants would never flower, but here it is finally. and the first to show was even a female. pics below, this is the smaller of the 3 plants in the last few pics i posted, which is actually the one...

    MY grow (cheaply) /w pics

i don't know for sure but i don't think that's overwatering. maybe nutrient def. or burn or just bad watering practices... how do you water it? do you let it get dry then water deeply? or have you been watering often and not much (quantity-wise)? it's best to water seldom and deeply when you...

How big of a factor is the room humidity?

i think there's a way to use a bucket of water and a rag to raise the RH without mist which would kill your HID. i'll post back here if i figure it out.

I'm just a ordinary guy Trying to grow something

Sorry to hear that, but yeah, least you got the experience. now you have the chance to do it right from the beginning so the plants will be much better this time around. Good luck with your 2nd grow. :peace:

I'm just a ordinary guy Trying to grow something

yeah i fucked my plants up early too, still not sure how i fixed it though, and i'd like to know what not to do in the future. so what were you doing wrong that caused the stunting? looks like you caught it in time though, so i'm betting if those are female, you'll get a decent yield from them.

First grow.. 6 week old plants need advice!!!!!please\

i think they need bigger pots, mine are yellowing and stunted too, and i have them in pretty small pots but i think they got better when i repotted. also, just water until a few drops come out the bottom, that ensures that all the soil is watered evenly. and every 2-3 days seems good, but it's...

Hustla's latest, widow & rhino in soil

Looks good, i have a plant that started to smell during veg when it was 2 weeks in, the big one from my first batch of seedlings. it really only smells if you get real close to it or touch the leaves though. Good luck with the males/females hustla.

    RyaNayR's Grow Journal

Thanks hustla. yeah i noticed that and thought the same. i think it's nute burn, but it's not that bad, and doesn't seem to be getting worse. so i'll keep an eye on it, but i'm not going to stress over it. it's probably a good sign actually, it means the plant is taking up nutrients and stuff...

    RyaNayR's Grow Journal

The big seedling grew a lot overnight. i'm really glad it's doing so well, it's a nice change from what i've been seeing the last month and a half. As you can see, the new leaves are now as big as the first set of leaves, and still growing. it's looking really nice so far.

    RyaNayR's Grow Journal

Here's the pics, first one is of the big one and all the new sprouts. second and third are my best sprout. it's not doing too bad, the little yellow it had stopped progressing, and it's grown quite a bit in the last couple days. I ended up having to take the big one out and put it under it's...

    RyaNayR's Grow Journal

It's day 17, and they've been a bit stunted the past week, but one is still growing good and looking pretty healthy. the big one grew two inches higher and two sets of big fan leaves, the top is looking really healthy and green now. I'm going to top it at the next node so it branches out. i'll...

Plants yellowing 1 week into veg

well it either means your soil is already soaked and its just pushing out water that was in there already, or it could mean that the soil is so dry that the water just goes past most of it, or it could just have really good drainage.

    First grow. having problems

I'm having the same problem with my plants, but i don't think it's overwatering, because i've let mine dry out for the past week and they seem to have just gotten worse despite not being watered. not sure yet though. This has happened to both my grows and i'm very interested in what causes...

Plants yellowing 1 week into veg

well, it could be a deficiency come to think of it. my last batch started yellowing after a little more than a week, and these new ones are starting to go at the same time. i just would think the soil has the nutes to keep the plants healthy for a lot longer than 1 week. I thought for sure...
