Yeah, that looks around a half gallon give or take a bit. I've noticed that hybrids/heavy sativa doms do a little better than indica doms. At least in terms of size. Your plants are looking great though! Hopefully I'll see a harvest pic!

I grow a ton of veggies in the summer, you can get a lot off just a few plants! I've never grown watermelons though. I've always heard they were a picky plant. Although I don't know how true that is. Good luck with your grows!

I would say yes, it's too late to top. As posted earlier, it's said you can top auto if you do it early. In my experience that makes them take an extra 1-3 weeks to finish. But I'm sure others have more experience with autos, as I've only grown a couple.

Yeah, they're most likely photoperiod. If your planning on vegging the height of your space, then I highly suggest to LST(low-stress train) them. Otherwise your plants will likely grow into your lights. Seems like you got a good idea where to start, now you just gotta apply it. Good luck!
