    super cropping during flowering?

i like to pinch the hell out of all my stems too, the straw analogy isnt.accurate, its the complete opposite-it creates highways instead of roads.

    super cropping during flowering?

this is my experience as well. if your plants are healthy bending.or snapping.wont slow them at all. My plants almost laugh at me when I bend them, the shoot.back up almost immediately. thats why i try to stake or tie down branches now, that way they stay where i want them instead of shooting...

I do need to rub the stem a bit, but when I do they stink. i think I have an OG pheno and a disel pheno out of the 3 I planted.

    where are you mothers?

There is scientific evidence that suggests it does, as well as reports from numerous growers. It can be very strain speciff mine had a Kali Mist that degraded big time. We kept thinking it was in our heads but my other buddy who runs the same strain(both from cuttings of the same mother) and...

I did have a hermie though, It stretched like mad when I flipped and it literally took over my tent, then all of a sudden started throwing balls, I'm pretty sure I got it in time, none of the sacs seamed open and I coudn't visually see any pollen. I will say though, my other two Headband are...

I did not know that, but I am constantly checking with the scope so I don't even know the quoted finish time. I like them a little more amber then most.

I would try and get your HID working, I wouldn't go the T5 route unless you run out of all other options. A 4', 4bulb T5 would be a last resort, IMO>better then nothing but nothing compared to a 600w. ALSO, T5's get hotter then people say. The fixture itself puts off heat. I need approx the...

    where are you mothers?

I've suspected this for awhile/believe it to be true. I also believe that genetics do degrade or mutate after a while. You are much more likely to loose a strain by taking clones of clones. If you have something truely special keeping a healthy mother is the only way to go, IMO.

    Hermie

This isn't a female that was stressed into making male flowers to pollinate itself. It's an actual hermie. I've had good experiences like you with growing out self pollinated seeds. In fact the Jack in my tent is from a seed I found in a bag of jack that pollinated itslef-I only found a...

    Hermie

And and and... I wasn't THAT pissed because I was actually running out of room AND vertical height. Removing the plant let me tie some stuff down and get that all under control. SO I figured why risk it-just remove it. Either way, I'll have more then enough medicine until I harvest again.

    Hermie

After I pulled it out of my tent I realized that these were everywhere. I flipped them on the 10th, so they haven't even been in flower for two weeks. I don't any of them were mature enough to actually pollinate anything else.

    Hermie

No, it's not nail polish lol. I considered that at first, but they are everywhere. I'm not sure how I missed them until this morning. I have to be more diligent with checking my plants I guess. They are on a table and look so vigorous I haven't been messing with them that much. Just a...

    Hermie

I'm almost positive it was genetic, and not caused by stress. I know there aren't light leaks and I run an automated DTW at a pretty conservative ppm. It's Dr. GT's Headband and it's from s1 seeds-so I knew they weren't super stable to begin with. You have to plant a couple seeds, pheno hunt...

Looking good man, I'm a little behind you. They are pretty stretchy when you flip them huh? My Bubba OG is looking real good too, it doesn't look like it is going to yeild like the Headband but I'm excited for both. This pic is the Doc's Headband at 10days flower(not including the first week...

    Hermie

So I opened the side panel of my tent when I woke up this morning and this is what I found... I was bummed because it was my biggest, most vigorous plant. Just wanted to post an example of a true hermie. You can clearly see the female flowers in the background. Well, another one bites the...

Yeah you need the intake on a speed contorller too. When you have that going on you'll have much more contorl over your environment. You should be able to get your temps close to your intake temps>meaning the temps of the air coming into your tent. Try to avoid bends in your ducting, they...

    Ventilation question

It's not air flow, it's air exchange. The air in your room should be completely exchanged for fresh air almost constantly. This means fresh air needs to be coming in and old stale air needs to be going out. Having a million fans in a sealed box isn't going to provide fresh Co2 or o2. This...

Just so you know, I have a 4" fan collecting dust because I went the passive intake route, then bought that for my active intake and it wasn't powerful enough to compete with my 400cfm 6" exhaust-even when I was running it through my filter and hood(before I got the other fan just for the light)...

No need for a dust shroom-they are pretty much just a shop vac hepa filter(actually more like a coffee filter)they charge you an arm and leg for. Just go with one of the 'bug shields' they sell, they work great at keeping dust and bugs out.

This is my first time using tents and I had to figure somethings out as I went. People will tell you that you can get away with less, but it will be a constant battle. Get a 400cfm 6" on a fan speed controller for an active intake. Get a 200cfm(or higher) fan JUST for your air cooled...
