Nope. But cheap compost is a false economy. There are enough nutes in Jacks Magic to feed your plants for around a month using only plain water.

B&Q sell Jack's Magic too. It is 15p a bag more expensive that B&Q's own brand and way better, it is a far superior product.

If you want to get shot of fungus gnats all you need to do is use sticky traps and let the pot dry out as much as possible between waterings. I have tried all sorts to get rid of them and letting the surface of the pot dry out was the best solution, the larvae thrive in moist soil.
