    Outdoor grow pot size?

I am using 12 Litre pots for my first outdoor grow. So far so good.

Which autoflower are you growing at the moment and why?

I have 5 Critical Blue by Expert Seeds. The seeds were left over from my last indoor Auto grow. For various reasons they didn't do very well indoors, so I thought I'd try them outdoors as the wife has space in the poly tunnel she uses for Tomatoes. I am making this grow really "hands off", I...

Can I harvest I'm getting too impatient for lower buds

I know someone that claims they can tell the difference between Hydro weed and Organic weed. He couldn't. Back in the 90s I knew a guy that grew hydro, for profit. Much as I do now, I used to grow enough to keep me in smoke. I grow Organic(ish) weed, always have. Anyway this guy I vaguely...

Can I harvest I'm getting too impatient for lower buds

That 72 hour dark period thing is complete bro-science just like flushing.

Can I harvest I'm getting too impatient for lower buds

If you don't have patience then growing isn't for you. If I believed the breeders flowering times then mine are ready. But the evidence of my eyes says that they are not. I have put time, effort and money into growing the best weed I possibly can and I guess you have too. Do you want to...

Forgot to add ny start date of flowering guessing at week 6 or 7

That plant isn't ready. I get that you are keen to harvest it, but it'll be better if you are patient. I am in exactly the same boat as you at the moment. I have a couple of Sweet Zombie plants in week 8 at the moment. According to the breeder they should be ready now, but they aren't. I...

Is using a entire product line overkill?

I used Poundland PK 13/14 a few years ago and it was just fine. I am going to keep using my favourite peat based for a while yet. I tried Westland New Horizon Peat Free a while back with some Autos and had mixed results. I think as the ban on peat gets closer we will begin to see a lot more...

Is using a entire product line overkill?

I have just looked up the price of that. Sweet baby Jesus that is expensive. I will stick with my £1 bag of Epsom Salts and just pray that my weed doesn't taste of soap.

Is using a entire product line overkill?

Thanks for the tip I will do some research into it. The other day I was saying to the wife there is nothing that could really make me want to change my compost and feeding regime, then the government announced the ban on peat based products.

Is using a entire product line overkill?

I have pointed this out already. He is the master of bro science. He uses a flushing agent that as far as I can tell is glucose and water, it is about £50 a time. Apparently I am smoking pure nitrogen and I am going to fuck myself up with all the "dodgy chemicals" I use. He honestly believes I...

Is using a entire product line overkill?

I am sure it is very good, but it is really expensive.

Is using a entire product line overkill?

I use Blattwerk Pure as a general feed, once my compost is depleted. I will add a little Epsom Salts to that once a week. During flowering I use Plant Magic Old Timers and a touch of Epsom salts. I can get 500g out of 1m2. Back in the day, 20+ years ago, I used to use Tomato feed at 50%...

Skint newbie on a budget in search of good advice.

Nope. But cheap compost is a false economy. There are enough nutes in Jacks Magic to feed your plants for around a month using only plain water.

Skint newbie on a budget in search of good advice.

B&Q sell Jack's Magic too. It is 15p a bag more expensive that B&Q's own brand and way better, it is a far superior product.

    Tiny black flies everywhere

If you want to get shot of fungus gnats all you need to do is use sticky traps and let the pot dry out as much as possible between waterings. I have tried all sorts to get rid of them and letting the surface of the pot dry out was the best solution, the larvae thrive in moist soil.
