    okay, i decided to remove both of the husks of the shell and found out that the black part was just a coating which is part of the coatings that holds the two cotyledons together. i peeled it off and the seed embryo was white. weird, i think it was a wasted seed.

    thanks! they're put outdoors though. the temps reach from 30-35 celcius sometimes. they're still alive, sativas are doing well. indicas are doing crap.

    i suggest remove it from the water then put it in paper towel, wait 2 days and if it hasn't cracked. force crack it by gently squeezing it till you hear a pop (do this as a last resort) worked for me a few times
