I've had some show within three weeks from seed under 18/6 and others will take a couple weeks after the change to 12/12 to show. It is purely genetic.

No problem. It is confusing at first but you'll get it. .017 is low and that is a good thing for tap water. The less dissolved nastiness in it, the better.

EC is measured in mS, not uS. My meter reads in uS, as I'm sure most others do as well. It is just more accurate measuring in uS, than mS. Your tap water has an EC of .0177. If your tap water has an EC of 1.0, it would on the verge of undrinkable with all the dissolved shit in there.

I just caught up there that it is a 250w ballast and they wouldn't even come in dimmable form anyway. What are they going to dim to? 150w? lol.

Hmm, must have been an earlier version before they went dimmable. I'm pretty sure those other buttons are just GFCI buttons in case an internal circuit breaker gets tripped.

How big is your res? Regardless, you're going to need more than that crappy Walmart pump if you plan on having enough bubble action for this to work. I have the same pump and it is a pile of shit. I wouldn't use it for more than simple oxygenation with a root structure already in the water...

You are just mixing up micro and milli units. 1.0 millisiemens is 1000 microsiemens. So your water at 177uS is .017 mS.

A single 1000w isn't going to cover the entire tent effectively. You're going to need two lights if you want complete, canopy-penetrating coverage. I'd go for 2 600's at least.
