    Moisture Control Soil?

Ok this is based on how big your pots are 1,3,5 gallon Basically get a measuring cup (i use a 1 quart one) If you are using a 3 gallon pot then that is equivalent to 12 of my measuring cups so to accomplish 1 part perlite and 3 parts soil that would be 25% of 12 which is 3 So i would use 3...

well water and other sources ?

I have a heavy concentration of iron in my water, and no a magnet will not remove it. You need to use a special filter system just to remove Even if they removed all the iron I would not drink it, you just don't know what is in there.

    Demineralised water in soil

Very good and thorough question bio-bizz light mix does have some nutrients in it. It is designed to work with liquid fertilizers. So your plants are receiving nutrients. If your soil did not have any nutrients, or the water, your plant would not last long at all

Lower leaves turning yellow - about 3 weeks into flowering

I would say this is normal as the plant is using up the green for food. Just out of curious, what is your soil composed of and what nutrients/feeding schedule do you utilize

Optimal time to switch from MH to HPS

As soon as I start the flowering phase I change the bulb, although I see no harm in not doing right away. At one time MH was used throughout the entire grow period. But since the introduction of HPS it was used primarily for flowering.

well water and other sources ?

I would say too much of any nutrient is bad. If your well water is high in iron like mine, it canbe very expensive to remove. Would be easier to use city if you have or buy some distilled or drinking water from walmart or the grocery store. always let the water sit at least 24 hours just in...

    Moisture Control Soil?

Never worry about whatever question you add I asked the same question as I read a tutorial about adding perlite to soil. It never said mix, just to add. Believe it or not I poured perlite in the bottom then added soil on top (Mistake) After I had asked I was informed to mix it up.

    Moisture Control Soil?

Yes you can plant it straight in this soil with no perlite, but come time when it flowers your plants will be upset. There is no dispute to the fact that MJ does not like a moist soil This has been stated time and time again. Put some perlite in there

    Plants dieing!? please help *pics*

Ok they look ok. I would get the lights as close as possible to stop the streching. Put your hand under the light and if it feels too hot then it is too hot for the plants. That is how you judge light distance from the plant. If you dont have a fan then get one to blow on the plants to...
