It was hung for 4 days and is bone dry now. Ended up at 5.5 grams.

Awesome. That will be one of the new strains I try. Thanks!

I had no idea how much these firm up after some time curing. I was worried that I ended up with airy crap after they dried, but man, these really turn into rocks after some time in the jars! From the 2 plants, I ended up with twelve16oz mason jars full. Not sure how to rate that, but they are...

Daaaamn. That thing looks amazing. I can't wait until I can grow like that. Your like a gardening Jedi.

I cut down the "freak of nature" bud. This was a tiny, single popcorn bud that I tried to clone for shits and gigs. Some of the lower, super swollen parts were almost 75% amber. Don't want to grow sleeping medicine so she got the snip. It's like a rock. 3.5 inches long, and weighs 18g (wet...

Still have all this biz drying. Plus the lower 1/3 of the last plant is still going. Should have it all cut by next week.

Got most of it in the jars. Burping and laying it out a few times a day to be safe. At some point I'll have to try it!

    Northeast weather 2017

Early this season, I cut a clone 2 or 3 weeks after buds appeared to see what would happen. It was 1 small branch, with 1 tiny growth site. Now it's about 5.5 inches long. I put it in some high N potting soil (all I had, not ideal obviously), under 12/12 (a little "smart start" t5) in a small...

It's awful. I can't believe this is October. Trying to dry right now, and it's a nightmare. That plant looks incredible btw.

I can't find anywhere on my property, inside or out, where the RH is less then 75-80%. It's mid-October. Fuck this weather.

So you dry trim? I wanted to try that to see if it was easier. What's the humidity at in that room? The reason I ask is I'm curious about RH levels and the effect it has on the time it takes to dry sufficiently to start curing in jars. I'm stuck around 70% and am having to add more moving...

This humidity has forced me to MacGyver a dry box. I used one of those huge wardrobe boxes from Uhaul and a 5 inch fan mounted on the top blowing out. Fingers crossed...testing it now with some side buds I cut earlier today.

Drybox is complete. Now let's see what my chances are of getting it down to 55%. Also cut 4 more that were ready.

Trying to dry buds in 90% humidity isn't going to work for me. I need to build some kind of dry box.

Damn. That sounds awesome. I'm still in the stone age with all my shit. But this time around was so enjoyable I'll be stepping it up next season.

Absolutely. I've heard mixed reviews on if it works or not, or if It's worth it, but I'm gonna give it a shot! Have you done it before?

Is that when you take the big main colas and leave the smaller stuff to mature? If so, then yes!

Took the first tester today. Small middle branch.

I cut a small tester off the last plant. Left the branch and lesser buds below it intact. Tomorrow is the day for the rest of the main colas.
