    RIP pollen

If you've had a pollen outbreak and want to neuter it, then just spray the area with water. Or more than likely it's time for a cleaning in your room throw a little bleach in a bucket of water and wipe everything down. Bottom line water will neutralizer pollen.

Hempy nutes - PPM levels showing way lower than what they should be?

I hope you prove me wrong also. That light will grow some bud I just don't think you'll be impressed. I played with LED's about 5yrs ago. I bought one of the first led panels that that had 3w diodes. It is a 350W panel with a mix of 1w and 3w diodes this as I found out was a serious design flaw...

Hempy nutes - PPM levels showing way lower than what they should be?

Right now with what you're doing by tipping and draining a little, and just the general agitation will keep the rez mixed, and since your screen is mounted to the tub you could be okay. If your tub was to just sit still the rez will stratify with the denser at the bottom which is the higher tds...

Inline fans in series or parallel?

Run parallel with 2 filters. Be sure to increase the exhaust duct size where the 2 fan exhaust merge to meet the volume needs of both fans. Each fan will get it's full cfm rating minus the drag of the carbon filter. Where with 2 fans inline the cfm will not get much over the rating of the...

Hempy nutes - PPM levels showing way lower than what they should be?

I say don't try to fix, and I'll explain why. But lets start at the top. Before I get critical let me say your plant looks really happy and is growing quite well. You've got a 20gal tote, for a 2'x3' footprint this is way too big. A 2gal bucket (in no way more than 5gal) is more than enough to...

    Drying in high humidity?

Don't know how your tent is set up, but you don't want to be pulling air in and discharging out through your carbon filter. If your tent is sealed and the dehumidifier is running it will drop, circulation in the tent should be low.

I don't think that the rope tote is going overboard, since you're planning for and spending the veg time to grow monsters. As far as growth speed the hempy bucket will hold it's own compared to soil and most active hydro systems. And it's just too easy. I've got a question resinhead what is the...

    Vacuum sealer for storage

I've used the seal a meal bags for several yrs for long term storage after the cure, but I do not vac them. Compared to zip lock bags, it's light years better. This last summer I got a new GameSaver vac-u-seal I got the wide mouth jar attachment also. So far I'd say the vac sealed jars are at...

    13/11 vs 12/12 ??????

Thanks for this chart, but correct me if I'm wrong this just shows shows the rate that the plant can absorb photons, not the overall absorption a plant can handle through a light cycle and still be able to use up all the starch it made during the dark cycle. When I think of my outdoor grows...

New to Colorado but not to growing

For med card holders you can have a licensed dispensary or another med card holder as your caregiver. If you choose another card holder then between the 2 of you the plant count can't exceed the prescription (both party's can grow). A single card holding caregiver can only have 5 max "clients"...

Hey Hempy fans, since I'm not running another round till the beginning of next yr, I did my hang and dry in the grow room as seen in above photos. So as another experiment in curing. I turned off the ventilation after 5 days of hang and turned the room into a humidor of sorts. I went in today...

New to Colorado but not to growing

With a personal grow it's 6 plants 3 in flower and 3 in flower if you and the wife reside in the same abode then you each get this. If you want to be a caregiver as mentioned months ago then you have to have a med card yourself. If you get a med card you can get a script for more plants than the...

Just read your new journal, I'll be sure to follow gr. As far as the ph.... It's been a couple of yrs since I monitored the runoff of my buckets, but I do remember when I changed to coco the ph of the runoff increased, as compared to using perlite which was generally lower, this is due to...

    Improperly Stored Coco

If it smells like mold then it's got mold. If it smells just a little funky, then dry it out, (the scent will go away),,, then rinse with a 10ml/gal cal/mag water. Brick coco needs cal/mag not nutes when expanding.

Well this last weekend my odometer passed another yr and I chopped the indoor / outdoor / indoor Afghan Kush. This plant had a greater leaf to bud ratio compared the the pair that stayed indoors. It was very time consuming to trim tight. The girl did regain her sweet scent (lets just say she...

    Which method is best?

I should have answered your original question. And this is just my observations. An amazing male will help any female, where an amazing female doesn't enhance every dude.

    Which method is best?

It all depends on what you want to do. If you just want to make a bunch of seeds in one run then do your best to do selective pollinating on separate branches. But depending upon your experience level don't be surprised if what you thought you did, isn't what you got, pollen is a wild critter...

Day 32 flower! 3 strain massive colas!

I know what you mean when you don't get equal dispersion of growth after a fim it can be the same after a topping. I've also used LST to slow a fast growing main. But in the end the slowing comes from the time it takes to heal the damage done in the LST. And depending upon your grow set up the...

    13/11 vs 12/12 ??????

Thank you for the articles, a couple were over my head but the one from frontiersin.org really described starch construction and use during the light cycle really well. So I would assume that this regulation would would be the same at the other far swing of a 6/18 cycle. So that brings us back...
