With my water I use 5ml/gal Bontanicare Cal/Mag, when using perlite it's just 1ml/gal. Coco loves to absorb free cal. I've gone as high as 8ml/gal in coco with a heavy feeding plant.

Oh yea!!! And I've caught it once, with a special purple male Bay-11 which was the father in the Maui Wowie cross (Maui Bay) which is a winner and F-2 Bay-11 seed from my fav female from the 10 pack, I haven't grown one yet but my friend grew one out last summer it looked black in his garden...

I should mention that while I was segmenting some larger buds this evening to prep for making some oil this weekend that the bud though full of seeds were just as dense and sticky as my previous runs of the Bay-11. I'll post how the oil turns out, we'll see if seeds make a difference or not.

Both frequent and infrequent waterings work well. I personally believe I get better results by letting them dry, just as ISK stated. It's not unusual for me to hold off watering until the point of slight wilting.

Hey Growan, looking at the photos, they need some N and they even looked overwatered. Which shouldn't happen in a 2L perlite hempy. I can't say I know anything about Dyna-Gro Grow, or Mag-Pro Protekt. But as small as your plants are they shouldn't need to be watered any more than once a day...

Be very careful with the KB dry, it is very concentrated. Don't use more than a 1/4 tsp /gal of water. I've had some harsh tip burn at that rate using OC. I'd start at 1/8tsp/gal, to see how they react. Your plants look great and it's common to have to support stretchy staiva's.

If you are looking to flip them into flower as soon as possible then go with a small container. I personally don't see the need to use anything larger than 3.5gal (13 liter) unless you are going to do some serious veg time.

Hey ISK, very nice documentation. I still think everyone needs to have a soil grow under their belt, before they do a hempy. Just so they can see first hand how much more forgiving and easy the hempy is.

A soil cap has several advantages. It holds the perlite in place, which is nice during watering. It keeps the light out of the perlite. I've noticed when breaking down buckets with the cap the roots are much denser higher up in the bucket, so effectively it increases the root zone in a perlite...
