Are the tips yellowing at all? Usually the tell-tale sign of Mg deficiency is that the veins of the leaves remain green, and the surrounding area of the leaf yellows. Also, tips have been known to stiffen, and crisp up. What medium are you growing in?

I know the nutes I bought (BMO quad-pack) has a nutrient specifically for foliar feeding, but as far as other nutes go, I'm not positive. I know some nutrients will say on the side of the bottle they can be used as a foliar, but I'm not sure if this is true of all nutrients. If I were to guess...
