i got a 1000 watt conversion bulb HPS ballast -> MH bulb and i works perfect, its a SunMax or something? not sure, but conversion bulb are kinda expensive, i could of bought a mh ballast for the price of my bulb ($100) but then i would need another bulb and reflector and i thought a conversion...

Nope, the only hydro system i ever used was my ebb and flow table. I have been thinking about a DWC or RDWC though so i will defiantly be checking in here...

Personally if you liked your ebb and flow setup you made i would invest in a commercial one, plus you know how to operate it, know the up keep it needs ect.. with the rainforest and waterfarm its a new systems and thus a learning curve for you... but i would say the waterfarm is a fairly low...

I would call HTG and tell them about it, how many hours did you have on the two bulbs that blew? was it just this grow that two blew on you? cause if lost to bulbs on one grow i would defiantly contact them, somethings...

Keep your res. outside the tent, it will help keep your water cooler....other than that i would change that 400 watter for a 600 if possible, they are much more efficient. i like the setup man though, any real pics of it?

HID Lights put of way way more heat that CFL's (and yes a HPS is an HID light....), you can't place them nearly as close as you can CFL's... just thought i would let you know...

I'd say let her go atleast another 2 weeks, it looks like you got a lot of white hairs on there still... how close is your light , cause if looks like your burning your baby, that or too strong on the nutes... yea i would go with nutes cause if it was heat the hairs would be redish brown...

Ah so it was a 12/12 from seed, damn... that thing is like one bud lol... thats sick though imagine, if you did like 50 of those, you could use hella small pots, prolly like a 1000 watt light and get a decent yeild... buy 50 seeds might set you back unless your FDD and make your own....
