yeah I am guessing that he means algae, lightproofing your rez is a great idea I would look into using h2o2 in your rez unless using organic nutes

It doesn't matter what strain your growing, with the lights that far off the tops you are going to have stretching I would have those much much closer, drop them like 6" and you would be much better off

No but it does highly increase the chance of getting mold. There are a lot more crops lost to mold/bud rot outdoors than indoors because it is known that you don't want the buds to get wet
