    Controlled Environment Agriculture by Shrubs

    Hey Shrubs.. I've been doing ALOT of experimenting with drip irrigation systems lately and let me share my experience with you. I've found what works best is using a HUGE pump and Rain Drip PC (Pressure compensated) fittings for each drip line. They make them in 1/2 GPH, 1 GPH and 2 GPH. Use a...

    Yes, drain to waste on a 8 week variety. Do you cut your base nutrients down when using the top boost? I've done some pretty extensive testing and I keep getting slightly better results with Canna rather than H&G. The Canna just seems to produce slightly larger, denser, brighter, more...

    The Big $6,500.00 Adventure UnderCurrent 8XL13 under 7000w

    Looks pretty cool. Very different from most of the setups round here. Few thoughts/questions. 1) Are the ballasts outside? It looked like blue sky in the background above the ballasts. 2) WHY IS YOUR DOG IN THE ROOM?!?!? You must like spider mites, bugs, & half chewed up plants =P 3) Who...

    Bushmaster and Gravity Questions? +rep for good advice

    Yo Ben, I've sat by for years and watched and listened as you've talked down and belittled people. Without fail, every thread I see you are talking about "snake oils" & "evil marketing" etc. It's just fucking annoying to listen to this shit for years. I'm not denying you have vast knowledge...

    Hey Raider.. If one was running an automatic top feed system to buckets full of coco what would be the proper way to use Top Booster? Apply for a full week? Apply only 2-3 days? Feed, water, feed, water, feed, water? I'm a little unclear as to the proper way to use it. Sidenote: I think...

    Anyone seen the new labels?? Got a shipment of H&G and it's all new labels!! Wonder if they reformulated anything? Just wanted to give some info based on recent experiences: 1. Had major salt buildup in soil, drip clean didn't help. Don't know if it was something I did or if the dripclean...

    lumatek or quantum E-ballast

    Quantum is the way to go brother!! I've used them all Lumatek, Quantum, Galaxy, GGL, Phantom, NextGen. I love my Quantums and won't go back. Paid $250 for 1000w $150 for 600w from a guy in Florida. Lumateks kept frying my bulbs and i've had several over the years go bad on me. Just my 2c...

    canna boost worth the money or not

    I can tell you this much. I have done side by side with and without boost and here is my experience. Slightly more colorful & more crystals. The one difference it did definetely make was teh DENSITY of my fruits. They did not neccessarily look much larger but were significantly more dense...

    I was to lazy to read through all the answers to your question but YES there are bennies in the root excel. You will also kill most if not all of the enzymes/microlife in the BudXL, Multizen & GreatWhite if you use h202. I would say try to maintain a cool res temp and use a circulation pump...

    Shrubs, you ever try the IGS-061 co2 controller from Plug'n'Grow? Very popular where i'm from. Retail $639 but get them for $450. Also what do you pay for your Quantum 1k's?

    Opinions on Digital Ballasts

    First of all, not everyone with a growlight is growing pot. The manufacturers have jumped through hoops to get FCC/UL tested & approved for the sole purposes of having insurance companies honor policies and to meet state/local codes. Unless otherwise stated in your lease/insurance policy you...

    4000w Stadium - 2011

    Dude get the Solarmax with the dual 600wHPS/400wMH if your worried about both spectrums. I would say 95% of people use HPS ONLY for flowering. I have personally seen the results and having a LITTLE MH (blue/daylight) in your spectrum DOES help a little in terms of resin production and...

    Controlled Environment Agriculture by Shrubs

    Hey Shrubs.. Got a few questions for ya. 1. What makes the PPM2 the most advanced co2 controller? 2. What is the best (most efficient) commercial strand you've grown in your opinion? (taking into consideration quality, weight, flowering time etc) Why? 3. You really never have problem with...

    My plants are growing way too tall I dont have any room left HELLLPPP!!

    Dude don't top your plants in flowering. Get a trellis net or some string and pull/tie the branches away from the lights. Also try a prodcut from Humboldt County's Own called BushMaster. Use it at about 2ml/g and it should stop your vertical growth all together.

    Doktor Doom and pilot lights?

    Ouch. Thats a scary one. Maybe try the Dr. Doom Spider Mite Knockout? It's a spray rather than a fogger. Also FYI I field tested some new Spidermite shit called Mitey Wash and it is the end all be all of Spidermite killer. It's not a fogger so it does require a little work but the shit...

    ^^^HELP ME BUILD A 4000w GROWROOM^^^ ++REP

    Oh and if you INSIST on getting the Magnum's get the Raptor from HydroFarm instead. Bigger and it is sealed MUCH better. The gaskets don't leak like on the magnums. Co2 and odors are sucked out of the room with the magnums.

    ^^^HELP ME BUILD A 4000w GROWROOM^^^ ++REP

    OK Doc, I got here a little late but I'm sub'd. Lets get this room built! First things first. CAP & Powerbox both make great controllers. Powerbox is more like a Mercedes and CAP a Toyota. I got my 15000 for $589 delivered. In the future I'd pay the extra $100 and get the hot start delay...

    Opinions on Digital Ballasts

    OK, heres the deal on dig ballasts. Pros: Much lighter (weigh less) & burn MUCH cooler. They are a little more efficient. They do draw slightly less power and produce slightly more lumens compared to magnetics. Some of the newer ones offer a "dimmer" option (which is not particularly useful...
