    Drip watering system

Why not drip with coco? It's still hydro, but you can amend it like soil and then just use plain water.

    What to do with trim

I recently made cannamilk. Great stuff. The only problem is that I love cereal when I get the munchies. So I use more milk. Endless cycle. :weed:

    Cfl grow

Looking good. I like the side lighting. You might want to put some reflectors on the CFLs to focus the light downward.

135w is fine for now. When they get bigger, add the LED.

How much light is too much light during veg?

It's all about keeping the right level light, co2, water and nutes. More of one should have more of the others to keep things in balance. There is a point where it's too much or anything, but you should be able to tell from looking at your plants.

How much light is too much light during veg?

It's too much light when it negatively affects your plants. Otherwise use as much light as you can.

    night temps.

I don't like my temps below 55*F. I've heard that cannabis stops growing under that temp. Also, you don't want your day/night temperature difference to be more than about 10*C. 76*F = 24.4*C, 52*F = 11.1*C.

    Reddish stem

Plants look good from what I could see. What are your temps? It might be getting a bit cold which causes coloring in the stems. Could also be a nute imbalance, is that nute burn on your leave tips? If it's burn then lower your nutes a bit, if it's cold heat it up. Either way, the plants...

    Questions on fluorescent

I like the 2 prong better as I feel the bulbs are more securely held when it's twisted 90*. I don't know if that's valid or not. T12, T10, T8 all use the same prongs. T5s are smaller.

    Dresser Grow - Ventilation Help

I hot glued them all to form a large square. Then I attached them to a the top of a wood box with a hinge (so they open, like a door). I removed the bottom of the box and replaced it with a screen. I then hot glued the box to the top of the cabinet where I cut a large hole. I would open the...

First-time Grower - help me with lights (no DIY) and tent size, please!

I like to have 2 square feet per plant. Some prefer more or less. 2 give the plants enough room without crowding and without too much unused space. It depends on your grow style too. For lighting, I like 250W (approximately) per plant. I hate to say it, but DIY LEDs aren't hard and you'll...

Yes. Topping/fimming will force the plant to grow OUT more instead of UP more... bushier. It happens in veg.

    DWC to coco

I've had good luck with coco. There are a few ways you can do it. You can mix all the nutes in with the coco and just water with plain RO (adding nutes if/when necessary). Or you can just use coco and water with nutes every time. There are some really good soilless mixes out on the web...

18oz. Clear Solo Cups • Must Go Inside 18oz Solid Color Cups

That's how I used to do it. Then you can tell exactly when to transplant. I used to also punch holes throughout the clear cup. You will end up watering more, but roots do enjoy fresh air.
