Well, for what it's worth, I just built my own recirculating DWC. It's really not that hard, as long as you sit down, look at all your components before construction, and get a good idea in your head about what to do. So far my first grow (seeds, lights, meters, nutes, DWC) has cost about $1200...

More light will help them stop growing up, and help them grow out. Repti-lights were what I used to do my seedlings, but I had two, and I wouldn't do that again. But then again I now have full tubes in T8 and T5. That's money though, and hey, using what you have to get what you want is always...

Get some females, flick them, pee on them, starve them, generally stress them out, and they'll go into being hermaphrodites. Pollinate with those, and you end up with femenised seeds. Much better way to gurantee genetic security without worrying about males. If I'm wrong, someone feel free to...

My two cents: I'm a "grow master" for a friend, and we have a hydro DWC at his house. My mom still found out. Don't fuck with the moms of this world, they're just way to damn smart. P.S. I'm 20, but am still very close with my mom, and have a room at her house. College thing.

Wow, you're going to need a heck of a lot more than a few thousand lumens. Think along the lines of twenty thousand MINIMUM... I think the rule of thumb is 5,000 lumens per square foot of growing area, and more is always better.
