3 x per day for 3 mins. What do you have to hold on to a little of that moisture? If just hydroton, 3 minutes seems like kind of a short time for the plant to draw it up. I use a 4-inch rockwool cube in hydroton and don't have to water every day (every other day yes).

Check out the hydro shops or amazon, you can get a Speed Bully for under 30 bucks and I think it's an Ideal Fan controller for under 20. Don't use a dimmer switch made for lighting, it's not the same thing. Is that the 6 inch or 8 inch? I am interested in how noisy it is.
