I'ts an apartment with only 2 plants max in it but I cannot vent outside and cannot build a box in this closet so this has nothing to do with temp control. I will have to figure out something else for that. But as long as the carbon filter will work in this manner i'll be happy.

Has anyone out there tried useing the O-ZONElite CFL's for flowering? the specs say 2700k 1600 lumens, It should work in theory and the odor benifits sound good. guess you would need something else for lights off hours though.

I have germinated 2 seeds and placed them 1cm into a 4:1 Jiffy mix/Perlite mix in 4 1/2" pots, However, I'm not sure how much to water them (but I believe i'm only to water them when the surface gets dry to the touch). I sure hope I can pull these off, I havn't been sucsessful the last 2 tries...

This is a question i've had too, If my 1st grow goes ok I want to flower as soon as possible so I get a feel for the process an how strong the odor in my closet is gonna get, Yeild isn't a real concern for my 1st s long as I can clone it.

2 days ago I planted 2 seeds 1/2" maybe a little more In some jiffy seed starting mix with perlite and was wondering about hw long do tey on average take to break the surface? I'm trying to water them a little with a spray bottle when I see the mix is dry and I have 4 23watt CFL's 3" or so over...

Last night I started 2 seeds in my Jiffy seed starting soil and I just found out I forgot to mix the perlite (I left the 1/4 perlite at the bottom of the pots as I was tired and forgot to mix). This afternoon would it be to late to pull the seeds out and mix the soil+perlite and re-seed??

I only chose the soil germ because I have a edgy schedule at work right now. I hope it goes ok but i'm not sure if I will have time to mess with them when their ready.
