The soil is jiffy seed starting mix and 1/4 perlite, I'm probly gonna transplant into bigger pots with FoxFarm OF when I get 5 sets of leaves.

I've noticed a couple of brown spots on my little plants and I checked my PH in the water I had prepared and it was way high. even though I watered this morning I corrected the PH to around 6 (hopeing it will help correct the problem) and watered them again...

right now im useing a crappy little 4" desk fan from walmart for the exhaust, whenever my 4"inline fan comes in I was thinking about drilling 3or4 1" holes together near the bottom and putting the crap fan there blowing in.

That sux, i wasn't gonna buy the soil for a week (low budget) but is the Foxfarm ocean forest what I should buy tomorrow and repot them in (dunno the pot size) my CFL box is for 2 plants 4'x30"x19"?

As they are 9 days old should I pot them in the same soil (jiffy seed starting mix), I was going to put them in Foxfarm ocean around 3 weeks.

They are not clones, seed at 9 days (with slowdown I found out I was seriously under watering themfor the 1st 5 days)

thankx for the rubber tip, but yeah i know odor is gonna be a problem, but i live in an apartment by myself. as long as I can keep the smell contailed to 1 room i'll be happy, gonna use active carbon and maybe something else. But my major concern id i guess size and building out of this wood.

I've asked questions about a grow box before but I'm stll a little nervouse in this part. Is 4'x30"x16" enough for a CFL grow box for 2 plants? and I was going to make a 1"x2" frame and put its either 1/4" or 3/8" plywood around it. this is my cheapest option but I don't wany it to be crap...

I juat found a really cheap (quality) particleboard wardrobe 47-1/2W x 20-1/4D at BigLots, would this be ok for a grow box or should I just build one? I'm kind hopeing to not wrestle a heavy wood growbox up to the 3rd floor.

Sweet thanks, I've convinced myself (thnx to the people on these forums) to build a grow box. I will soonbe able to use a scrubber venting into my bedroom, but if o3 is harmful, I guess I will opt out of the ozone idea.

I want to be able to push a active carbon filter that can kill the smell for 2 plants at the max, roughly 6'x 3 1/2' x 20" H x W x Deep, I'm growing in an apartment and I'm planning on useing a box about the size of a wardrobe closet.
