I'd at least leave the exhaust running with lights off. Plants are still alive during the night hours and do a thing called respiration. They will definitely benefit from a little air flow.

That's max voltage, running it at 80% of the listed max won't hurt anything, actually extend the life of the driver and keep it cooler. That's why I said 4 of them at 1400ma and the Vero29s are cheaper than the 3590s by about half.

I have 2 spacebuckets going that I veg in and 2 cabinets that each hold 2 plants. I start a new bean every 2-3 weeks. Sometimes the cycles get off from longer strains and shorter strains and something gets an extra week of veg or a flowering cabinet might have only 1 plant in it for a while...

I see what you're saying, but the 185 x 2 fills this area perfectly. The 240 x 2 running 8 Vero 29s at 1400ma would be cheaper.

What makes you say that it's male? Have you been in flower for a couple of weeks? That's the only way to really know. Probably want to consider a carbon exhaust filter. Also, I never use an intake fan, just a passive intake. You don't want to pressurize the cabinet and have stank air leaking out.

I agree with the passive intakes. Never pressurize the dank air. Consider a DIY COB light. Better buds, more yield, cooler. I can help you pick out components if you want me to.

After reviewing your lights power output, 2 of them would fill your space very well. Looks like between 12 and 18 inches from the canopy would be best.

Blurple lights work OK, not great. I could get about .5-.6 grams per watt used off of a GalaxyHydro 300 blurple. After changing my light from blurple to cob it's closer to 1.0 grams per watt used.

Yep, it works if you add perlite for drainage and root aeration. I use it as part of my soil mix.

The 1 month per gallon rule of thumb is based upon the amount of soil nutrients that can be depleted in a given amount of time. Not how far the roots can stretch during that time.

With a 2x4 footprint, 8 square feet, 8 cxb3590 cobs at 1400ma. So, 8 CXB3590, 2 Meanwell HLG185-C1400 and heatsinks. I like passive heatsinks. Around 600 bucks if you're building on the cheap.
