    Need some wise led gurus

The light doesn't look bright enough to me. Those plants look like they're ready to be blasted with light. Praying in my experience just means the plant has taken up most the moisture in the pot and it's time to water - ie they're praying for water. There may be other conditions that induce...

5x5x6 vivosun tent or diy 6x6x6 room?

Build a room. Even good tents can be problematic.

Question, why is my ebb and flow system not draining back into the Reservoir below?

Similar concept to what I was suggesting with the pipes. You can reuse the pipes though.

So I smelled burning plastic as I entered the flower room...

Crazy neighbors.... Lucky they burn their f'n house down.

    Low ph problem

Stop with the flushing. Espoma Garden Lime will bring your PH up ASAP. ~5ml per 4 liter of soil mixed into the top layer and you're PH should shoot back up to ~6. That said, I wouldn't be freaking about 5.5 too much.

Question, why is my ebb and flow system not draining back into the Reservoir below?

You'll be fine with ebb and flow and rockwool. I started with that same set up. I suggest covering the top of the rockwool as that likes to grow algae. Get the metal leg out of the rez - you may need a different rez or the frame may need to be flipped. 900ppm doesn't seem too high to me...

Question, why is my ebb and flow system not draining back into the Reservoir below?

That looks like a metal leg sitting in a saltwater solution. That's going to screw things up.....

    600w led light tripping rcd

Sounds like you're overloading the circuit. Try using 2 different circuits or have an electrician run a dedicated circuit for you. Alot of people have a separate circuit and a subpanel for their grows.

LED advice I want to make the switch

A few pros you forgot. No hot spot in the canopy/more even coverage (with bar style LEDs) The plants can get really close to the light (<6 inches - applies only to bar style LEDs) No more changing bulbs Easier to clean than hoods I got ~4x5 coverage from my 1700E "knock-offs."

LED advice I want to make the switch

For ~1/2 what a Gavita costs, you can keep a couple back ups and still come out ahead on a bigger grow. In my case the company (Shenzhen umol Tech) has a US warehouse, so they can get me replacement ~ a week. My guess is most of the knock-off lights are either DOA or you can expect a decent...

LED advice I want to make the switch

I like the 1700e, but it's pricey. I'm getting the same/similar results with my Alibaba "knock-offs."

LED advice I want to make the switch

Don't take it too seriously. I caught some crap when I first started posting here. Unfortunately, a lot of people on forums don't have a clue, but are quick to hand out advice.

    Really need help choosing nutrients

Not the first time I've heard about how GH is "in bed" with those evil f@#%ers at Monsanto. Not only does GH have nothing to do with Monsanto, they were independent of Scotts for a long time before Scotts went on buying spree and picked up a few companies that were in the MMJ game.

LED advice I want to make the switch

Ask the shipper. My (Alibaba) lights came in plain old cardboard boxes. Nothing other than the shipping label.

    Information Overload

If that Vivosun HID is legit, you can't beat that. $129 shipped is a damn good deal.

How bad is the smell really?

MMJ plants that are "camouflaged" rarely produce anything worthwhile. MMJ loves light.

    Auto trimming VS hand trimming

I'm with Smoke on the bowl trimmer. I used to have a hand cranked one and that was, but now I have a motorized one and it's awesome!!! The nice thing about these bowl trimmers is the smell stays in the bowl, so it really cuts down on odors. The motorized one is quieter, easier to use and...
