Almost 6 weeks Veg only 5 inches tall, very little foliage.

Nice ! that looks like a healthy grow and you've got the tops nice and even. Now you have some hard work keeping them even ! I think after the initial work with mainlining, you have less work playing " whack-a-mole" later.. (constantly beating down the high tops so they dont become dominant. )...

Thanks much for sharing, I'm taking notes ! Your mainline is a work of art, nicely done. I'll be trying something similar next grow, but for now mine is a mini verison of yours. Is your grow up as a journal somewhere? I'd love to watch this one unfold. Here is an example of how "out of control"...

Nice job that looks amazing! I'd like to go this far but dont have headroom for the stretch. How much better is the quality of your bud Mainling vs a regular grow?

Almost 6 weeks Veg only 5 inches tall, very little foliage.

Thanks, good tip and I've already purchased a 1 gallon cloth pot for my next grow. I may move down to a 5 gallon air pot as well, the 7 gallon pot is a little too large for my space. I was joking around a little bit with this post, my plant is small for many reasons, mainly the removal of fan...

Thanks, I'm new and all of my previous grows left me confused. After the leaves got thick, I didnt have a clue what was going on below, it was pure chaos. I'm enjoying watching and learning how a plant grows with 8 colas only this time. I might tops again for 16 mains in my next grow, but I'm...

Almost 6 weeks Veg only 5 inches tall, very little foliage.

One last thing, as a new grower I'm nervous to use nutrients. (I've been burned too many times) I've fed less than 1 tsp of Dynagrow Foliage Pro and Protekt the entire grow....Once she gets more leaves I'll feed her more.

Almost 6 weeks Veg only 5 inches tall, very little foliage.

No more toppings, I'll be going with 8 colas this grow, my previous grows had problems mid flower and I had over 25 tops going in a 3 gallon pot. I'm hoping that more soil and less tops will let the plant get through flower. I'm using a 7 gallon air pot this time. My last three grows were...

Yep, I've had too many bug problems with fox farm, I boil it now. Hopefully the Mycos and great white will get the soil living again, at least thats my plan !

Thanks, you caught on quickly. I smoked a little Durban Poison before posting this and thought I was being funny (a joke) . I really need to stop trying to be funny, I'm not that good at it! I'm stuck growing in a small space and added a 7 gallon air pot to this grow, taking away almost all of...

Almost 6 weeks Veg only 5 inches tall, very little foliage.

My plant seems awfully short for 6 weeks of Veg. ( 5.5 weeks to be exact). I wonder if it will make it. It's growing sideways which is odd.... Anyway, I thought I'd check with the experts here to see if this is worth continuing to flower. Should I flip 12/12 now or wait? I boiled my soil this...

    Flushing

The word flushing is used to describe two completely different things here. 1. Flushing with plain water the last few weeks before harvest. In fact, this may not be flushing at all, but many call feeding plain water before harvest "flushing". This particualr definition of flushing is very...

Locking grow cabinet, one plant at a time.

I may go smaller, maybe 3 or 5 gallons air pot next grow or cut my big 7 gallon container down a bit. All of my past grows got pretty rough around week 5-6 flower. I'm betting that I over vegged the plant and topped too many times for my small container. In other words, 25 tops in a 3 gallon...

Locking grow cabinet, one plant at a time.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I'm learning a lot about training plants down in a small space. The bonus is that growing flat and even produces a lot of high quality bud! This grow has a total of four tops per side. I'm trying to post pics but there seems to be some type of a formatting issue. I...

Locking grow cabinet, one plant at a time.

Fox Farm Happy Frog, Perlite, Worm Castings, 1/2 TBS Dolomite lime, Mycos, Great White. I'm using Dynagrow Foliage Pro and Protekt for nutrients, used very lightly. I'm in week 6 of Veg now and have fed 1/4 dose only twice this grow ! I'm nervous with nutrients after burning my plants too many...

Locking grow cabinet, one plant at a time.

I started this hobby in little cabinet, around 1.5 x 1.5 x 5 feet. ( around 4 feet of usable space, the filter takes away some head room.) I know a lot of you have big grow tents, but I'm pretty happy growing one plant at a time and have been averaging around 2.5 ounces at harvest. Some day I...

    Lets talk about LED Dimmers.

OK, thanks all. I'm short on space and growing in a cabinet too small for my plant. Good to know I can lower the light if needed. It's gonna be tight. Dont laugh at my custom cabinet, I improvised on this hidden grow room. I need locks on my doors, so I'm not lucky enough to have a big grow...

    Lets talk about LED Dimmers.

Hi all, I'm a new grower using a small Spider Farmer SF-1000 with a dimmer. My question is about using the dimmer. Lets say your space is limited and you need to lower the light a bit lower than the light recommendations. Will lowering the light and using the dimmer provide all of the correct...

    Where is uncle ben?

Gotcha, exactly what I was thinking. Thanks ! Here she is, a newbie's attempt at mainlining. I'll be tying down the two end chutes and flipping to flower soon. Dont laugh, I know she's small for her age, but I think the frame of the plant is coming along nicely.... Grow space is limited or I'd...

    Where is uncle ben?

Hey all, If it really is the famous Uncle Ben here responding on this forum, woo hoo ! Glad to meet you in person. I'm new to this hobby and know that after 3 grows, there is no way I know everything. In fact, the more I learn the more I realize I have to learn. (if that makes sense) Uncle Ben...
