I would go for more of a flowering spectrum with autos. You might want a little stretch and the end goal is buds. Really though, one 3000k cxa would do better than ten smaller leds.

Same boat as in 29" of vertical to work with. I have a wide angle lens for a magicshine x-ml bike light that I will try out when I get my cxa's hooked up. Ebay item # 271465541878 is similar. It should spread out the light intensity to give me a bigger bright spot.

Would a diffuser help spread the light out when headroom is nonexistent? The diy mountain bikers would use lenses to creat flood lighting to help with spreading out their LEDs. I will be in the same boat shortly.

Have you looked into the aluminum blocks they use in bars and soda machines to chill the liquids at the bottom of the ice bin? I think they come in a variety of sizes.
