Thank you. That was the assertion.
The doc was stating that if you cut clones from a female plant, that all offspring would be female as well. I have not messed with cloning that much, generally just growing out from seed and culling the males.
I have 4 clones from a plant that I harvested...
I was looking at a few of the seeds I have here. Most have an oddball "hole" where they were attached to the bud. I am having a hard time believing that only 1 in 10 (or there abouts) seeds that will produce female plants.
I subscribed to this thread and am looking forward to the results.
I know stress can cause some strange things to happen to these plants, but my question is simple.
Assuming that all conditions are ideal and I do my part to control the stress of rooting clones: If I create clones from a plant that is confirmed 100% female, will those clones grow to be all...
I popped 10 Afghan seeds a few weeks ago. I "weeded out" four that were starting out weak and so I have 6 left. They are all short, stocky plants so topping is kind of hard when they are you. I am going to top all six though and I am really anxious to see the results. This thread is...
I use a 400 watt MH for veg as well and it works great. The vegging plants love the spike in blue spectrum that the MH provides. How long do you intend to veg indoors before they head outside?
All an AC unit does is move heat from one space to another space. Unless they have a humidifier built in, they are a closed loop system. The water is just condensation that drips off the cold indoor coil. The water is not pure at all, so I would dump it in the sink.
Remember that you will...
Harvested my indoor medical grow of two Afghan #1 plants. Both plants grew healthy and strong, plus the resulting medicine is outstanding One was cut all the way down to the dirt. I stripped the other, but left a couple of "seed bud" intact on the stem. I set the stripped plant out in sun to...
Just read the news. Neither SCOTUS or California Supreme Court will take San Diego County's arguments against Medical Cannabis. Good and bad news. Good in that the courts declined to listen, bad in that the issue will be allowed go without resolution...essentially leaving it in question.
Afghan is both short and heat resistant. I grow it for pain management as I am a med card holder. A friend grew some White Widow in a closet with "too much" light (hence too much heat) and it held up okay. There was a little burning of the leaf edges, but otherwise the plant was healthy.
Skitch: Yes, I do and precisely for that reason. Last I checked, saving money was anything but stupid :)
Chromer: some power suppliers charge on a tiered scale. Power is priced at a lower rate in "off-peak" hours (from about 1700 - 1000). I am in such an area.
I have my card and have purchased different strains from various dispensaries. Not a single one was "bad". I would say that all were better than anything off the streets. When you get it through a dispensary, you know what you are getting. No guessing required.
I have never bothered to cover my sprouts unless they were out doors (bug threat). They really do not need to be soaked down. I just do it the way I was shown years ago and it has always worked out fine.
I read his post to say that he prefers his seeds to always be in the breeders pack. I this way too. Yes, Attitude will remove the seeds from the packets if you want, but why would you?
Most companies ship in such a way that the seeds are concealed and not obvious. I do not want to go into...
Blackflag, Sex Pistols and the DK! Oh man, that was some fun shit back in the day. GG and the MJ's, Fear, all that shit. Now I hear my kids listen to it every once in a while and I just laugh.
I heard this one about 20 years ago. Was no "internet", but plenty of books on growing. I read most of them at the time and "birth control pills" were not something that demanded many pages of elaboration. To my recollection, most reference were nothing more than a "it has been reported/there...
