I just had one of my plants show a few "balls" on the main stem. Everything else about the plant is female. If you see a few male flowers, just strip the off before they open. Seems there are just some strains that pre-flower partially male only to turn out female.

I have mine at about 10" now. The reflector I have is pretty basic. The light pattern is too centered anyway. When I started looking at my options, I came up with the plan to run dual spectrum. Overkill for now maybe, but it will work for me on future grows.

I grew 4 pretty good sized plants under a 400 watt, so I would think 6 "full sized" is a safe bet. I am in the process of building a dual bulb setup so that I can run 400 watts of HPS and 250 watts of MH. I am curious to see how the blend of spectrum effects the process.
