F3 Valley Ice. (Matanuska x SFV OG)

Chopped down one of the plants today. This plant is the only one that ive found with bud rot, due to the flat top mutation. She could have gone another week, but the spike in humidity is starting to worry me. The plant is incredibly frosted. I will continue breeding with her and turn her into...

Desperately need help to clone this pheno

The plant looks pretty small. I would dig it up, shake and wash off most of the soil, and put it in a 3gl pot with some fresh potting soil. Harvest the buds, but try to leave most of the plant in tact. Take it indoors and reverse it. Probably take a month before you see some new growth.

Well friends, its official. This purple plant is difficult to root. All the flowering cuttings that I tried to root didn't make it. Today I am going to take cuttings from the mother that is vegging, and try to root some. I tossed all the cuttings I tried to root several weeks ago. Someone had...

Wind storm just knocked the power out. I forgot that this type of thing happens during fall, winter, and spring... :eyesmoke: At least the plants are looking happy. How do some of you deal with power outages when you have a plants in flower? Lucky for me, all the plants are still vegging.

Really cool. Ive hung up large whole plants to dry. They take longer, for sure. The method your currently using seems easy going. Why measure the stem for moisture? Is that a more accurate way to measure?

MTF swelling up. A trimmers dream. Virtually no leaf to remove. I made f4 seeds with this plant and a male that is MTF dominant. Im going to do some back crossing and stabilize this strain again. It performs really well indoors. My Valley Ice experiment is finally coming to a conclusion. Im...

F3 Valley Ice. (Matanuska x SFV OG)

This will be an important update. The plant that I originally selected to mother and continue breeding with has started to display a mutation. Some of the colas have a flat top. The flower formation is really dense, and not what I am after. Today I found bud rot, in a really early stage. I...

    Natural treatment for spider mites?!

You need to alternate between two different sprays. Soap water and neem oil. Spray the plant down with soap water, then again in 3 days with neem oil. Repeat one more time. Should take about 10 days if you really want to get them. Sounds like the infestation might be pretty nasty. Wipe your...

Small tent growers: Yield? or Variety?

Im in a 2x2 with nine 1gl pots. This is an all clone run. The empty pot in corner is for a male that is currently rooting. Next run im going to attempt half gallon pots, all 12/12 from seed for pheno hunting. SOG style. I made hundreds of seeds this year in the greenhouse. Im after one good...
