    The UK Growers Thread!

@twalte posted this elsewhere on here, did some looking over our way and thought I'd share as I know many will struggle to keep temps up this time of year. Essentially it's a 530w heater that pumps the heat directly into your tent. If you click his name , go to his post , he's done a power...

Finally, an effective and SAFE grow tent heater

Don't suppose you've got a killawatt meter you can plug it into and see how it fares on those low levels?

Finally, an effective and SAFE grow tent heater

It's a lovely bit of kit. Long overdue idea too. Certainly help in my basement which I was thinking of shutting down for winter. Seriously considering getting one.

Finally, an effective and SAFE grow tent heater

So the actual AC infinity website doesn't show it, as far as I can see.. But on or the uk distributors taking pre orders states at max power it's 530w. Incidentally for anyone my side of the pond, the ac infinity site has them on sale for £75 but there's a small tax takes it to £82.. but...

Finally, an effective and SAFE grow tent heater

Looks good and price is right. I can't find information on power consumption. Any ideas on the range of wattage from running it minimum to full power?

Spyder farmer 6" exhaust with a 4inch intake?

You don't need an intake for a 4x4 tent. Unless you are running serious extraction it's just not necessary.

    Greetings from The West Side!

Well tbf , if you don't provide evidence of something you're asserting then anybody could say anything. There's enough voodoo juice and snake oil on the market, don't ya think? It's best to be able to back up your claims or not make them. Can't really be sore about people expecting evidence.

    Running out of room

Make sure you Google the correct way to super crop. Take it slow, if you have to , bend in two places. You don't want to snap those mains. But it needs doing. Try doing it where the 90 degree bent will result in those mains been level with those lower buds. Looking at the 3rd pic, that's about...

Which led grow light to choose for a 5x5?

On this occasion I'm not recommending based on price point, but on the output. I don't personally think 720w generic units are enough for a 5x5, I'd be looking at 800w or above

As long as you have realistic expectations and don't believe the marketing.

Can I start a grow (photoperiod) with a bad light

The thing with those blurples is they do actually veg pretty well Most of the complaints came in flower because they're underlit. The morphology of plants under them is generally fairly good in veg.

    Small light recommendation

Viparspectra do a decent range starting with the p600, a 100w dimmable LED. For budget lights they have a good rep and solid performance

    The UK Growers Thread!

If you turn off your water, get a pipe cutter for a couple of quid, get a speed fit T piece for about £2 , then a washing machine tap and hose connection , you've got an easy to use tap. Less than a Tenner. That's what I did as none of the universal hose -tap connectors would hold well. They'd...
