    No they don't. Not under heathy conditions. Sometimes lower leaves will be sacrificed as food if they aren't getting enough light for most of the grow. Reason to chop early would be because the leaves are dying which as it progresses into the buds the dead leaf will lead to mould.

    With a hps, high enough it lights the whole canopy but not so close it's uncomfortable on your hand when you hold it above the plants.

    is it in warranty? If nit probably just a standard driver that you can replace. Assuming you've checked everything from timer, to extensions, fuses ect

    Net curtain, then blind angled downward , then frame the window and box it over with a hole in the bottom of the box for duct.

    Try and figure out what part has died. What light is it? Checked your fuse box? Tested the driver?

    Did you increase air temperature? Because you need to run them generally higher air temp under LED, especially so in veg.

    Thought that's what you meant initially. I'd use them all above , they aren't designed to be on their side, the heat sink will be minimal in those box lights.
